I go in 12 days :woohoo:
BUT the only thing i have planned is Rainforest Cafe for dinner the day we arrive and Cafe Mickey for dinner on my birthday.

Im thinking that on the 2nd day we attack DisneyLand Park and get all the things done in Fantasy land as my DD will get to go the rides for her age group. Apart from that i have no clue what else to do.
The day of my birthday we have EMH so im going to take advantage of that and have decided to see mickey's winter wonderland that day aswell.

I was thinking that on the day we arrive, after we have checked in the hotel etc we go to the studios and get that done, as i can go on the thrill rides that are there and my parents can have a wander round etc as i know them and my DD (2) wont be going on them rides, so at least we have got that out the way.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I need to have some sort of plan going or my dad will moan about being dragged here there and everywhere

Also the blue lagoon, where is that and is the price resonable, i was thinking of going there for lunch one day as my dad likes POTC and ive been reading its theming is kind of like the film.

I'd get used to hearing your Dad moan about being dragged here and there if I were you lol! You're there for 5 days right? Your DD will love the Studios, honestly, there is so much more than thrill rides there. You could easily spend a whole day in there now, what with all the shows, the parade there, Cars, Flying Carpets and Studio Tram Tour (which I'm sure all your family would like). Loads of characters are in the Studios too, so there are meet n greet opportunities, and often its a lot quieter for character meets in the Studios than it is in the main park.

I usually take DD to DLRP for 3 days, and we visit the Studios at least twice in those 3 days.

In 5 days, you'll be able to do everything all of you want to do, see all the shows, and do over your favourites. If it were me, and my first time to DLRP, and I had 5 days, I'd plan on one whole day early in the trip for the Studios, 2 whole days next for the main Park, and then plan my last 2 days on what I'd already done/seen, and what I wanted to do again  .

I wouldn't worry about the planning, we usually have no plan at all. In the morning we go to city hall to make dining reservations, and that's about it.

If it's a rather rainy day, use that one to go to the Studios, a lot is inside/ covered. Animagique is a very nice and colorful show to see!

When you enter a park, grab a map and time table (take a new one every day, sometimes they do change during your stay). Go in the park, go into a land, and just see what rides/ shows you'd like to do, and then go on to the next land.

When our feet start to hurt, we grab our time table and see what show is going to start, so we can sit down (or we ride around the park a couple of times in the train, hehe!)

Blue Lagoon is in Adventureland, in the POTC ride. It's a nice restaurant, although not the cheapest around. However, the food is good!
They have two kinds of fixed-price menus and you can also eat a la carte. It's definitely worth the experience.
First time we went there was for lunch, and we only ordered a main course, no appetizer or dessert.
Second time, we didn't get any food at all and left. (although this was a big misunderstanding)
Third time we had a full menu, and it was so good!!

Two other restaurants I like because of the themings is Walt's and the Silver Spur Steakhouse.
Walt's now also has a 2-course menu, ideal for lunch!

There just seems so much to do and so little time lol
Do Blue Lagoon take resverations, i think we mite do a late lunch there.

I just want to make sure i get to do everything i want to do and so do my parents and daughter.
If things aint roughly planned out a argument may arise lmao.

I have yet to plan a trip to DLRP, all I do is book it then decide on the day where to eat etc. So just go and enjoy yourself.:thumbsup2

Like others we tend not to have to much planned and seldom, if ever, make dining reservations. That is even in the summer when we tend to go :goodvibes

I'd concur with Elaine regarding the Studios. I wasn't a fan of this park in the past. But our DD5 just loved it :goodvibes

:) thanks guys.
I think im gonna just go with the flow.
Im just glad ive decided where we are going to eat.
