August 2015 is a ways away and even further away since my initial deposit was paid back in 2012....I am a long time Disney traveler. Each time I go I've brought a different member of my family. This year I am taking my wife for a pre celebration of our fifth wedding anniversary and my stepdaughter, who hopefully by the time we go will be legally adopted to me.
Lots of firsts this trip...staying in a family suite at the AOA, got the whole Fastpass+ going on, but most exciting for me is my first dining plan experience.
Back in 2012 I started planning with the Deluxe Plan, but paying close attention to all the research materials out there, I phased out of that idea. I am however attracted to eating in venues I otherwise might shy away from due to cost and of course also maximize character interaction.
Even tho 180 days is still four months away, I think I got something good that I want to hold onto.
We are staying for 8 days; 7 nights and IDEALLY dining goes something like this:
Day 1
Breakfast: At the airport
Lunch: Counter Service at Landscape of Flavors
Dinner: OOP Pizza room service
Day 2: HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Breakfast: Snack at Starring Rolls
Lunch: Counter Service at ABC Commissary
Dinner: Table Service Fantasmic Package @ Mama Melroses
Day 3: EPCOT
Breakfast: Table Service @ Akershaus Princess Breakfast
Lunch: Snack Around The World (mostly OOP)
Dinner: Counter Service at Lotus Blossom Cafe
Day 4: ANIMAL KINGDOM
Breakfast: OOP at Tusker House Safari Breakfast
Lunch: Snack at Harambe Fruit Market
Dinner: Counter Service at Restaurantasauraus
DAY 5: MAGIC KINGDOM
Breakfast: Snack at Cheshire Cafe
Lunch: Counter Service at Gastons Tavern
Dinner: Table Service at the coveted Be Our Guest
Day 6: FORT WILDERNESS:
Breakfast: 2 Adult OOP, 1 Table Service at Ohanas Best Friends Breakfast
Lunch: Snack at Meadow Trading Post (after horseback riding)
Dinner: Table Service (2) at Hoop De Doo Revue
Dessert: Smores at Chip and Dales Campfire Singalong
Day 7: MAGIC KINGDOM
Breakfast 2 Adult OOP, 1 Table Service at Crystal Palace
Lunch: Snack at Aloha Isle (first Dole whip)
Dinner: Buffet at Club Disney for our daughter (OOP);
Table Service (2) dinner for my wife and I at NARCOOSSEE'S
Day 8: BLIZZARD BEACH (First slide down Summitt Plummet!)
Breakfast: Counter Service at Landscape of Flavors
Lunch: Counter Service at Lottawatta Lodge
Dinner: Airport
