Excited about Member Homecoming

OK I'll do it. I usually just lurk around here, and to be completely honest, all of the negativity revolving MH is only making me more excited to go!!

I was also on the Member Cruise, 3 months pregnant and MISERABLE.....but I had the time of my life, and it was worth every extra point I paid. If MH is HALF as good, I'll get my $600 bucks worth.

So, keep on complaining that DVC is ripping us off, and how YOU would never go.....because that makes more room for people like me, who appreciate the Disney magic regardless and I can't wait for the threads to come up on this board in May that make you all wishing you had shelled out the extra cash and come along!!!

We received gifts in our room when we checked in and then every night when we returned to the room......we got pins, t-shirts, a tote bag and a teapot with tea in a tin. That's just off the top of my head. On the beach at Castaway Cay there were DVC beach balls. There was DVC EVERYTHING on the ship right down to the little chocolate wafers on the desserts and ice sculptures.

I'm sure the others can share more and I think MarkRG has lots of pics on a site.

Yep, DW and I are tres excited! This will be our first ever DVC stay - and we're owners at SSR, so the grand opening of our "Home" will make it a trip to remember.

Plus, I'm a big fan of Spectromagic, and to have a 'private' showing - sans a two-hour wait sitting cross-legged on rough pavement - will be a joy.

And PoohsPal: Check out this thread: DVC Member Homecoming - Look for the posts from MarkMG - he has a whole website about the SS Member Cruise, including the goodies they got.

And Remember: MH = Member Homecoming = Magical Happening!

It's official for me. I have my ressie and my ticket so I better be excited!

I am very much looking forward to MH! Heck I was excited to go to Member Days, and haven't taken my Lanyard off yet!

And when Emacman planned our N. Texas DVC Meet on Halloween that was a blast too! So I could imagine what MH is going to feel like for me.
