Exchanging WDW tix for DLR tix?

I read on mousesavers.com that you can exchange unused days from wdw tickets to be used at DLR. Is this true and how hard to do. I do have an annual pass to wdw, which is says will not work, but we also have the 10 day wdw ticket, with park hopper, and with water park and more option, that is non-expiring. i think we have 2 or 3 days left on these. so from what i read, i can take that ticket and exhange it for one day off of it for one day PH at dlr??

just want to make sure before we go and dont plan to buy tickets if we dont have to.

Yes we have exchanged WDW parkhoppers for DL tickets. It was 6 years ago and it was with the old tickets. We had multiday parkhopper plus tickets. We simply went up to Guest Services booth, told them what we wanted to do. They took the tickets into the booth, to see the manager I imagined. They came back with the DL one day park hopper tickets. Worked that day no problem. Now I haven't gone and used those tickets again at WDW. So I hope there are still days on them. And I hope my pluses are all there as well. But I don't know. We have gotten annual passes every year since then. But someday I know I will need to use them again!
