Just wondering if its possible to exchange leftover table service credits for snacks? And if so how many snacks would I get? I have it figured out that at the end of our trip we will have 1 leftover TS credit from T-Rex my 2 kids are going to share a meal there since that is what they always do back at home. Can I either get snacks instead, would love to bring home mickey rice crispies!! Also if I can do it do I have to tell the cashier that I am using a table service credit but wanted to get snacks instead?

Yes. You get 3 snacks per TS or QS credit. So it's a very low-value use of that credit, as you may top out around $18 in value for it.

Thanks! I know the value isn't very good but better than getting that extra plate at T-Rex & watching it go to waste. I would much rather get some treats to take home! Do I have to let the cashier know I'm exchanging TS to snacks? I'm either thinking 3 treats from the hotel food court or better yet if goofys candy co has the create your own treat as a snack credit I could make 3 chocolate covered rice crispies from there.

I've never heard of the create your own treat. What is it and where can I find it?

We exchanged several QS credits for snacks. We did this at Pop, Goofy's Candy Co, and bakery in France. At Goofy's, we exchanged 2 QS credits for 3 pieces of fudge and 3 building your own treats. Nice to bring home:-) Before we did it, we told the cashier what we wanted to do (exchange a QS for 3 snacks), just to make sure they would do it so we weren't surprised when it was time to 'pay' with credits. I always checked my receipt afterwards to track credits as well.

Goofy's Candy Co is in Disney Springs (Marketplace area across from Christmas Store and kind of next to Rainforest Cafe). At Goofy's there is a counter that you can build your own treats for a snack credit. It is either a gingerbread man or rice crispy Mickey head on a stick or marshmallows on a stick/straw maybe? There is also the option to build your own caramel apple (but it is not a snack credit). You fill out an order form (at cashier desk) and add a dip (milk or white or dark chocolate) then a topping (such as butterfinger, oreo, nuts, mini m and m's, coconut and more options) then a drizzle (milk or white or dark chocolate). They will then put it on a plate and wrap with a baggie/twist tie for you to take. They travel pretty well. We usually get dipped in milk chocolate and covered with either butterfingers or m and m's and drizzled with white milk chocolate. They used to emerge the whole treat in the toppings, but now they just do one side (it's still a huge snack). You can pay extra ($1 I think) to have more toppings. Messy to eat but yummy and fun to watch them make it!

So, can you get your QS credits converted to snack credits at any place that sells snacks or is it only at certain places?

You're not really converting the credit. You're getting 3 snacks for that credit. Semantics, but it does make a difference.

You can almost always do it at your resort. I think Goofy's at DS and The Confectionary at MK also do it consistently. Other than that, you'll just have to ask. Starbucks used to do it, but I haven't seen any recent reports. Just ask before you gather your items.

I was wondering this too. Going during food and wine festival this year with the QS plan. We've booked one nice table service dinner mid week, and we're staying in a 1 bed at BW so we won't be eating breakfast in the parks. I was thinking if we are on track to waste a couple of qs meals we could use them at the F&W booths. Has anyone had success with this?

You don't "convert" the QS into 3 snacks. You choose 3 snack eligible items at one booth and USE a QS credit to purchase them. There have been a couple reports from people being able to do this last week at F&W, but not sure of which booths. Ask at every one you wish to do it and see what they say. Just make sure you're only getting 3 snack items in one transaction; don't try to get the 3 snacks for a QS AND a drink in one transaction. They can't combine different forms of payment for some reason.

Someone reported back they used a qs credit at the food booths this year. You need to get the three items in one transaction
