Exchanging a partially used 6 day PHP for MYM

We went on our trip in November. Prior to the trip we bought 2 adult and 2 child 6 day PHP (with 4 plusses I think?) from Hotwire.


Of course the MYW comes out later.


We used three park days, and no plusses on this past trip.

What would be more advantageous- keeping the passes, or upgrading to MYW?

We would use a non expire option, and would like to include Disney Quest on the plusses now that is an option.

We are thinking about a trip in August.

I'm just not sure how much "Value" you will get for your ticket. I don't know that the plusses have any value when left over, so I think you might be better off just keeping what you have and purchasing something to supplement the tickets you already have. The one you have has no expiration already, and the new tickets won't unless you pay extra for it. It would also help to know, how many days you need passes for your future trip?

From what I figured, today when I called AAA, the plusses do not have the same applications as the MYW then with the PH's did. Using the PH, the plus included admission for the whole day. So if you went to the MK on Mon and had a 4day PH+ you would still have 3 park days and a plus day. That plus day can be used at TL for the whole day and then "Hop" if your hand was stamped, giving you extra park day as well. AAA made it sound like the plusses of MYW are included in the days bought for and not additional like the PH's were. If I have a premium MYW ticket for 5 days no exp, + hopping and I go to the main parks for five days, there isn't anything left to keep to go to the premium plus (water park or Disney Quest). Or is there? Keep the PH+ if you already have it.
If the MYW tickets still work like the PH+'s please anyone let me know.

I just got back from WDW and they wouldn't let me upgrade my PH tickets to a MYW tickets with NO expiring. The CM said I could only do the same type of ticket...that is, a PH does not expire, so I could only upgrade it to a MYW that does not expire (which costs more).

I have a feeling this CM just made up this "rule" on the spot. But we all won't know for sure what is official until all the CM's know what's going on.
