I am looking to do an exchange (I guess with II) for a 2 bedroom on the beach at Ft. Lauderdale. I can't figure out my options on the member site. If anyone has ideas of what may be available I would appreciate it (end of Feb/beginning of March)

The Fairfield Royal Vista and Marriott are the only 2 on the list. I haven't seen them but the info I have suggests they are both worth considering. The time you are looking at is prime season there and you generally need to be looking a good year out. But there's no risk in calling to see what's available. One of the best times to get good choices is very short notice.

I stayed at Marriott BeachPlace Towers once, and can recommend it. The properties in Ft Lauderdale aren't directly on the beach, but across the street from the beach. It's a high-rise property, and I think all units directly face the ocean. It has a parking garage, and the building sits on a 3-floor shopping area with various shops and restaurants. The units are roomy, and typical Marriott quality.
