Exchanges into OKW or BWV

I was just checking out the TUG (Timeshare Users Group)'s direct exchange database and found two listings offering 1 week at BWV and 1 week at OKW in a 2 bedroom villa in exchange for 1 week in Cancun in the first case and 1 week in the Caribbean in the second case. I am a bit surprised because usually you can get very good (read "Cheap") deals paying cash for these 2 destinations (Cancun and the Caribbean) while we all know how sought after BWV and OKW are. Oh well...maybe this info can be of use to somebody. I am surprised they are still available in the database.

The OKW is a 1 or 2 BR looking for same at the highest time in the Caribbean. The BW exchange request is a similar deal, asking for top resorts in Cancun or HI offering a 1 or 2 BR for a 2 BR. What happens with the direct exchange requests is people give you an offer and you decide if and what you will accept it for. In general the trades listed are for very high season requests but even then they would likely only accept certain exchange options. You can then pick and choose based on the merits of the individual offering. It's a great way to look for a direct exchange but you must be willing to have people contact you and offer Wisconsin in the fall or Panama City, etc.
