I thought it might be nice to have people post when they are making a Disney trip.
Maybe it would help meet some fellow exchangers

I have a trip booked to WDW for Nov. 9-19, staying at OKW.

Ann....go have tea at the GF and get a tiara!! That was the best trip I ever had. Both my friend and I got them the first day we were there and it was SO wonderful!! Free desserts, special seating, lots of wishes and certificates

Do I need to tell them it is my birthday when making reservations to order a tiara to wear? I will certainly wear it all week.

Yes, that tea. Yes, make reservations and tell them it is your birthday.
We didn't order the tiaras....they just brought them to us along with cupcakes and roses Very fun and a great start to our trip!!

I'm going in March ---9th ---16 th staying five nights at OKW and then moving over to ASM for the weekend. I was going solo--went last year solo but seems my sons and one of their girlfriends are crashing my solo party.
I love my solo trips--very "me" oriented and peaceful......but I do work with special needs children all year so my quiet times are special. I'll have to try and be quieter about my next trip--shhhhhhhh.LOL.

df and I will be cruising DCL july 20th-24th...dec dates at AKL are unknown. We're looking at early or mid dec. I would love to meet a DISer(s)

People are always surprised to find out I do not go to pin trading nights. I just buy pins, and if I trade, I do it on-line through Pinpics or whatever.
For one thing, PTN are on Fridays. I work all day (and all week). All I want Friday after work is to go home and do NOTHING!
Also I don't want to drag pins all over just to trade a few.
And the rare times I have traded on property (besides CM park trading) I find out later when I get home I already have the pin I traded for.
I was able to remember what pins I had until I went over 1400. And I hit that mark years ago...
But if it works out for both of us, I would be happy to meet up with anyone.

We'll be back in October 18-25th at AKV.

Didn't get my tiara last time! But, I got back in touch with a cousin I grew up with, and his family who live in Orlando. They met us for the day and our kids instantly clicked, it was wonderful.

We're going December 1st - the 10th. As of right now we are staying offsite.

The tea sounds fun. I bet my 2 DDs would love it. Now DH and DS..well thats a different story!!

My DH has done it before with me. He enjoyed it. There are actually quite a few men that attend.
