Hmmmm, my pet peeve about myself? Only one? ;) That I can be abrupt at times.

Others? People that like to argue.

I do not bite my nails, and don't like seeing others do it as well.

As for pet peeves. About myself-That I need to say no more often so that people do not take advantage as much.

Pet peeve about others-Not listening the first time I or other people say things.

If you were to go over to someone's house for dinner, and had to bring three different homemade dishes. What would you bring?

If someone were to come to your house for dinner, and they were to bring you a hostess gift. What would you prefer?

Depends on the dinner, is it causal, formal, or a cookout?

Nothing, I don't need more stuff, plus John and I don't drink so that leaves out alchol.

It all depends on what they are having but the dishes I find myself bringing to potlucks the most are green bean casserole, baked beans and brownies.

I really don't need anything but a candle would be nice, maybe some homemade cookies or dessert of some sort, flowers, something on that order.

I like a nice cup of tea in the morning or at any time of the day.

I'm not sure what we would take to dinner, it's something we have never done.

As for a hostess gift I'd like a scented candle or flowers. I had a friend and her children over for lunch yesterday and they brought daffodils and a huuuge easter agg which we all ate!

Hey everyone! I'll be out of town for the next couple of days helping to chaperone the band (160 of them) at their competition in Corpus Christi. We're going to get some serious beach time and the Sandfest will be going on while we are there. Whoo hoo! Have a great weekend and talk to you next week.

I hate camping and never do it. Also I tried smores for the first time last year at Disney (50's Prime Time) and I didn't like them either.

I don't like Smores either, but hubby and the kids love them. I do love to roast marshmallows, as they just don't taste the same unless they have been roasted over coals. We sometimes do a weenie and marshmallow roast on our property in the Gulf Islands, when we are burning branches. The kids really enjoy roasting marshmallows over the fire. Have a great day everyone!

Trish

Have a great time on your trip Susan!

We have never camped a lot and when we have been we have eaten out, lol! I would love to try smores - they are on the (ever increasing!) list for our trip next year.

I like cheese, lettuce, spicy sauce or ketchup. Nothing very adventurous. Bacon is nice too on occasion.
