Kids had their party at school on Friday. Today will just be another day.

We finally got pumpkins carved last night. I always try to do mine using the stencils--this year I got the POC pack, and carved Jack Sparrow. The boys said it looked like a monkey--until we took it outside and lit it. Looks pretty cool.

DS7 is TOTing with a friend and her daughter in our neighborhood.
I'll be here handing out candy with oldest DSs. I think they got thier fill at MNSSHP. But I think they'll still be dressing up.

I'm roasting my pumpkin seeds right now! yummm

I like dipping apples in peanut butter. I love Fuji apples. Apple pie.

My husband and daughter had carved our pumpkin last night, I have decorations outside, and inside of the house, I made Halloween cookies, that I put into Halloween bowls, and wrapped up for family, and friends, and tonight we are going trick or treating. So I have been busy doing this and that till today.

I miss having little ones for Halloween! I just hope to have some kids come by our house. Most don't want to walk up the drive. It's a little on the long side but not too long.

I wish I lived in a neighborhood where people would BOO each other . Shayla would love to do that sort of thing.

Most - pizza
Least - the extruded (looked like playdoh) french fries

What was your most and least favorite school lunch food?

All through elementary school (until 8th grade) I went home for lunch. School was only a block away. In high school I brought my lunch mostly, but I remember hating any type of meat product they tried to make. Favorite would be their onion rings.

I packed my lunch most of the time but had to buy on pizza day, every Friday.

Favorite was a tuna sub.
Least favorite was the horrible waxy french fries with rubbery hamburger.

I wouldn't mind having a 50% off coupon for the type of jeans I like to wear.

I can't remember what kind of school cafeteria food that I didn't like. I just remember that it usually wasn't very good. In elementary school, the rolls were the most popular. They were huge and so delicious. Another thing that we liked was the ice cream. It was served in rectangle bars wrapped in paper. We would buy grahem crackers and make our own ice cream sandwiches. In middle school, it was the chicken fried steak and gravy that was good. In high school, I took my lunch. The lines were too long and it didn't give you much time to eat.

What are you planning on eatting for Thanksgiving? Are you cooking?

This year I will not be cooking the traditional family affair. I will be driving to my sweet brother's house and enjoying a feast cooked by someone else! We'll be having turkey and the usual sides.

I'm English so we don't have Thankgiving. For Christmas though we are cooking the traditional turkey meal with traditional starter (sorry appitizer!) and desert for the whole family, all 12 of us! Fitting 12 into my dining room should be fun!

Hi all!! Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. I've not been feeling well. I just found out a few days ago that I have endometriosis. At least now I have some answers as to why I've been feeling how I do. So anyway, hopefully now that I know what's going on and the doctor has started treating me, I'll feel better soon.

So..as to the QOTD: I'll be cooking a traditional Thanksgiving meal here. My family, my parents, my sister, nephews and my niece and her husband are all coming. I don't mind though. I love cooking and... I cook better than everyone else
