All the recipes sound so yummy!

Ok, Patsy, my guess is that there are 550 crackers.

Brandon's party sounds like so much fun! I am jealous! I must get bust planning Landon's party too!:goodvibes

Tomorrow is the big day, have fun.

I will guess 100

For Brandon's birthday party, we are having a animal cracker guessing contest. I have a 3qt. container filled with crackers....how many do you think is in it?

*To make things more fun, if or to the first person who guesses the correct amount of animal crackers, will get a prize from me.

:bday:
Happy Birthday, Brandon!

Wow...I"ve missed alot! I'll get back with a recipe. It won't be one from the 4th, cause we were at Hershey Park. Missed the fireworks, tho--huge storm! But, I made some Popcorn Smores the kids love, so I"ll get that one out.

I'm going to guess 257 crackers. :upsidedow

I guess 1000 cookies.

King's Bakery Bread Pudding
1 loaf King's Bakery sweet bread
1 1/2 blocks butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
9 eggs, beaten
raisins
cinnamon
nutmeg

Melt the butter, sugar, and milk. Break the bread into large pieces in a -greased 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle the raisins over the bread pieces. Let the melted butter mixture cool till warm. Add eggs-making sure that the mixture is not too hot or else it will curdle. Add the vanilla, and pour over the bread using a small cup so that the mixture gets poured over evenly over the bread. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Love bread pudding and this looks like something for me to whip up this weekend! Thanks!

Been busy the last couple of days so I'm behind answering questions also. So......

I think that milk, meat and vegetables are overpriced at the grocery store.

We like frozen vegetables for the most part. My kids like Totinos pizza, Eggo waffles and State Fair corny dogs. They occasionally eat the big frozen pretzels (the name escapes me). I'll eat Stouffers French Bread pizza occasionally.

I made baked beans for the 4th and none were left. We had over 20 people here so I had to quadruple the recipe. It's one that I have had since Junior High. I learned how to make it in Home Economics in the 7th grade.

Baked Beans

1 16 oz. or 20 oz. can of Pork and Beans
2 tbsp. catsup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 onion (for whole dish even if you double, triple, etc.)
1 small diced green pepper
bacon slices

Combine all ingredients except for bacon and mix well. Pour into casserole dish, lay bacon slices on top. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour.

Nancy, I love hash browns! Which soup did you use, mushroom, chicken or celery?

I grew up taking baths but switched to showers when I got married. I've been a shower person ever since. They rejuvenate me!

My guess on the animal crackers is 367.

Great guesses exchangers, but the amount has not yet been guessed for the amount of animal crackers.
Thank you for the birthday wishes for Brandon :goodvibes .

I'm going to go with 344 crackers!

Tell your son Happy Birthday from a bunch of Disney nuts in Jersey!!

Kimba

Sorry I am late. DS just got his computer stuff all sat up.

Susan....I used cream of mushroom soup this time.

It is hot here! But we aren't out much. Just from house to car to where ever we are headed. :sunny:

Thanks Nancy!

Patsy, anyone close?

No one had guessed it...but the correct number was-464. No one had guessed the correct amount of crackers at the party either, but my uncle had the closest guess at 430 somthing.

No exchange ideas here. I'm going cold turkey. :scared1: Drill teams started up and no money in the coffer. But I do want to keep up with all my exchange buddies!

Hi, Nancy!:yay:

Have you ever done a Bath and Body Works exchange?Or maybe a magnet exchange.Or a favorite non disney character exchange,or a snack exchange.

Another snack exchange sounds yummy, but I think I need to go on a diet...not like it will happen, but we have alot of snacks now. I would like to do another jam and jelly exchange soon if anyone is interested.
