Carly recieved cards from Daisy and from England (?) I am sorry I did not get the names, our house burned Wednesday morning and we have been trying to find a place to live and getting life going again. If anyone else has been through this I would welcome all advise!


I had asked Carly's mom for her new address since my daughter had sent her daughter a card, which might not have been recieved, so I wanted to resend it, but also if there is anyone else that might want to send out a Christmas card to their family to wish them a Merry Christmas even with what is going on with them, I will see what info. I can find out.
But if you are interested, please post here and I will keep us updated.

Hi All!! I'm back!! Just got home a couple of hours ago. I have a TON of mail to go through..but I can tell you this much: I got 2 packages from fellow Disers, quite a few Christmas cards and my kids got a bunch of Christmas cards, oh and my DD Jocelyn got her pen pal exchange. I'll post on the proper threads tomorrow after I go through everything.

GoofyGolferGirl - I'm so sorry about your home! My friend just went through this about a month ago. It's really awful. I'll be praying for you and your family!!

It is starting to get colder here. My husband heard that there is snow on one of the mountains here, so since we live at a higher elevation, it is cold during the mornings and nights.

I am doing good. Trying to get things done around the house. Ordering pictures of the kids since they saw Santa last night.....
It is now nice and sunny outside, I would say in the lower 80s.

I had done some baking already and sent some things out and such, but will be doing more. Today my daughter and I will be making chocolate covered marshmallows.
I am done decorating, but still have some shopping to do.

The decorating is done (yes the tree too) mom and Dawn decided they didn't want gifts this year, as we are all going to Disney, so no shopping.

Baking will wait until after Disney, cause if I bake to early, John will have it all eaten befor Christmas. He has a BIG sweet tooth yet never gains weight.

It's pretty cold here too. I am almost done my shopping but haven't started my baking or decorating. I was going to do it before we left for WDW, but then I broke my toe AND cut my finger. Needless to say I didn't get anything done before we left. I plan to get my tree Saturday and do all my decorating this weekend. The baking will be done the end of next weekend. I usually bake about 144 dozen cookies for friends and family. Yep I know I'm crazy !!

I'm off to cook dinner now.
