*Exchangers-Come and join us for the QOTD & Chat w/us* Part 3-Our New Thread

When you prepare a dish for dinner, do you ever prepare extra to keep in the freezer for those last minute/tired moments?

almost always extras if it is something that lends itself to doing that.
DH eats leftovers for lunch, he doesn't like sandwiches and things like that

Yes, especially tomato sauce & meatballs. That's easy to defrost and fix when we get home from a trip.

Always. There's 2 of us (when DBF works nights it's just me) but I usually prep for 4-6 people so we have lunch for work and dinner later. I have 2 giant Tupperwares of buffalo chicken chilli that we've been taking for lunch.

It's just the two of us, so when we have things that are best prepared in large quantities, like lasagna or chili, we will freeze some immediately for future enjoyment. (Lasagna made in disposable loaf pans and frozen uncooked.)

In general, we try to cook enough for Beth to take some as lunch the next day, depending on what it is (she doesn't like sandwiches, I don't like leftovers).

If someone were to give you an arrangement of fresh flowers, what type of mixed flowers would you like to see in your arrangement?

Lilies and miniature roses (my two favorite flowers) if they couldn't be found then a bouquet of wild flowers.

Daisies and pink coneflowers, my summer bouquets from my garden. In spring I like all bulb flowers, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips.

I'm a huge fan of Robert Patrick.

I also really like Jennifer Morrison.
