*Exchangers-Come and join us for the QOTD & Chat w/us* Part 3-Our New Thread

I've had to pay for baggage the past few times. Most Canadian airlines force you to pay 50 dollars to check one suitcase. Boo. :(

Bags........usually $25 each, each way
I paid for seats once and then didn't get the ones I paid for, so won't do that again.
We bring our own food on board or eat at the airport, I don't pay for food.

The last 5 trips we paid an upgrade fee for business class. 1st bag checked free (we only ever have one checked bag), drinks and a snack are free too.

I always try to get JetBlue for my flights, so 1st bag is free, and I've been upgraded for free a few times to the extra legroom seats. I'm way too cheap to pay for that stuff too! I'll buy snacks in the airport to take onto the plane with me, although if its some kind of celebratory trip, we may have a glass of wine on the plane ($)

I just got home from a trip yesterday. I paid for luggage ($25 each way), but won't pay for seats or snacks/drinks. I bring those with me, and fill up my water bottle before boarding the plane.

When I lived with my parents I always did. Last year my college's apartment complex had a contest. My roommates and I carved a Dr. Who pumpkin. Won 3rd place and $50 to Wegmans!

I'm trying the cookie cutter style this year. I only have a martini glass and a couple dinosaurs to work with.

We have to pay for our extra luggage :( I over pack so that doesn't help. But I have not yet traveled on an airline where we have to pay for a blanket, pillow, snacks,..... If I wanted a blanket or pillow, I would pay for it. But if I knew ahead of time that they charge for snacks, I would get something before boarding the plane.

TheRose227, you sound very creative!

Finally figured out what I would like to bake that I have not tried yet - cheesecake.

No I have never tried origami.

I used to be quite good at origami! In fact, I still have some special origami paper lying around. :)

I have tried it, not very good at it. DH however is quite good...........and has a lot of books and paper.
One vacation, he even left the room tip in in different patterns (he has a book for dollar bills)

Yes ever since I was a child, and my daughter is into it. She actually asked me how to make certain origami items for a school project last night.

No but people mutilate my name all the time and I answer to how ever they pronounce it!

My real name is Lynne, so there aren't that many nicknames for me.

I used to have a friend who called me "Lynnie" every now and then.

My username has the nickname of Kogo and there are a few friends I have in real life that occasionally call me that. :)
