Exchange Rate

As many have said $2 was an exceptional rate just last year but having said that, it was even more recently that the rate was in the $1.30s, so on balance I would think that the current $1.65 is reasonably good. Of course there could be another violent movement in the US or British economy that catapults the rate up or causes it to slump alarmingly but if the past year shows us anything it is surely that beyond educated best guesses, nobody really knows.

I struggle like hell with the search facility on here anyways for some unknown reason, and always end up asking a question I feel sure has been asked ten times over.

I remember vaguely back in 2005 we must have got a rate of around 1.5$ to the £ as I recall trying to half the amount and then add it back on, if I'm making sense.

This year I have been buying our spends through www.crowncurrencyexchange.com. Each time it has reached over 1.65$ to the £ I have ordered a few more. Again I agree anything over 1.50 imo is a good rate

Make sure you fully understand how they work, although I am sure you will have no problems they are not risk free.
