which Nationwide card is the best to take out please? I'm assuming it's a Nationwide credit card - the gold card perhaps? Thanks xThats why I have been telling people for I dont know how long, don't take cash and travellers cheques, use Nationwide card for everything even if its a $2.00 ice cream. You get the full interbank exchange rate not the tourist rate.![]()

I took your advise Wayne for our trip recently. We had $500 for tips and tolls and charged the rest of our 3 week trip to our Nationwide CC.
Having raved so much about Nationwide card, I have just got myself a Virgin card so now I am torn which to use. I can get 1 Virgin airmile for every £1 spent. Will not get the same rate of exchange but can earn the miles.
Spend about £25-£30k a year on it so 25-30,000 extra airmiles would be nice.
Hubby has a Virgin Credit Card and has it for nearly 2 years, but has never been told about earning airmiles. How did you find this out? Could you please let me know
