That's a great article from the DIS
also I thought of one way to stay safe that's not mentioned in article and that is if you are staying in Disney hotel and getting uber/Lyft to Cocoa Beach jot clearwater which is about an hour away from Disney just becareful of the sea as it can have high waves and sometimes rippled currents.
