Exactly how bad is it?

Dec 26 through New Years? I've been during the summer, but we are now DVC members and contemplating these dates next year. I know it's crowded, but HOW crowded is it? I'm wondering about lines, etc and any other pertinent info.

We went when my DS was almost 2 on New Years day! The park was at capacity around 9:30am...so, we were glad to have gotten there early. We were just there to enjoy ourselves...not to ride every ride. DS had a ball end even got his haircut at the Barber Shop on Mainstreet. It wasn't tooooo bad even being at capacity! We would take breaks at the Rose Garden where we could get away from the crowds. The wait for rides was very long...but we did do the "old faithfuls" like It's A Small WOrld, Peter Pan, etc!

Even a crowded day at WDW is better than an average day anywhere else!

It's about twice as bad as summer...

When we were at MK on NYE two years ago, the wait time for PPF was 2 hours--in the middle of the afternoon!

HORRIBLE!!!

Been there 2 years in a row from before xmas til after new years--- NEVER WILL I DO IT AGAIN! You cant even get around- it like wasting your money!
