Exact date to book fastpasses?

Hello,
My first day at the parks will be April 7th. I assume my 30 day window begins tomorrow, March 8th? I tried booking the fatpasses this morning but kept getting a message saying to link tickets to your account, which I have already done. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you offsite? If so, then yes, it's at 30 days. If you're onsite, it's 60 days and at that time you can book for the length of your stay. However, I'm not sure why you'd be getting a message saying to link tickets to your account? I don't recall getting a message like that.

Yes, we are staying offsite. Here's the message I'm getting:

Resort reservation within the next 60 days? Check that it’s linked to your account.
Theme park tickets? You need to link them to your account.
No theme park tickets? Purchase admission to start making FastPass+ selections.
Child under age 3? No ticket or FastPass+ is needed.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. This is my first time doing this fastpass thing and want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Yeah they need to change the error message they give out when people try to book FPs early; every time I see "please link tickets to your account" I have a mini heart attack!

Yes 30 days prior would be tomorrow.
As long as you have tickets linked already it will let your proceed at 7am eastern once the window opens.
BTW you'll only be able to book 30 days prior from each park day.

When when you log into the wdw website and go under "My disney Experience", select "My Plans" there the 5 circles in the middle of the screen with 5 different options, the last one is he FP+. It tells me there when I can do my FP selections.
