It's really hot and humid in England at the moment and so all the windows and doors are wide open. :sunny:

What did my DH just show me? A frog sitting on the doorstep and his friend not that far away - ugh!

I like them in the fields and countryside but not inches away from hopping into my house thankyou very much!!! :p

Do you like them?

Frogs don't bother me. In fact, I kinda like them. They eat disgusting flies.;)

LOL I have 5 children and they have all, at one time or another, shoved one in my face yeliing with glee "look mommy, look what I got for you!" It is amazing how your body can freeze and you can pet a frog when your little one is looking at you with proud adoring eyes and inside your body is screaming and running to hide, lol!

I LOVE frogs! I have them all over my desk at work (plush, of course). This past winter, three of them (real, of course) took up residence under the cover of my friend's hot tub. We embarked on a rescue op, but unfortunately only one survived the cold. We named him Les and he now is very happy in his aquarium! He's so cute!:p :teeth:

Frogs ROCK!

Frogs are cool in my book, but we have lots of toads around here. The boys catch them regularly, and I whine until they let them go. I hate seeing any creature tortured. :( Well, except maybe flies and mosquitoes. My fear is that I'll run one over when I'm mowing. Can you imagine hitting one with a lawn mower? :crazy2:

ROTFLOL! :teeth: Frogs ... you either like them or get grossed out by them, I don't think there's much of an in between! :p

I actually like them! And I used to hate them because I used to be afraid of them. :p I don't know what's happened to me, but over the last few years I've begun to see them as pretty cool, and I actually wouldn't mind having a bunch of them in my back yard. I've always liked little toads that kind of have a little *bink bink bink* hop, but frogs always scared me with their sudden movement and their HUGE leeping Jump! But now I realize that they probably WON'T land on my head or stick to my face or something, so I can like them. LOL!  :teeth:

But I still can't handle those huge, squishy, flat bull frogs. :crazy2: Or those water hoarding, burrowing in the sand frogs in Africa. :crazy2: Or the ones where the male carries the eggs on his back and all the little babies hatch from there. :crazy2:

Maybe I just like toads and tiny tree frogs. ROTFLOL!

Been there, done that ...... GROSS! :crazy2:

We have lots of toads near my house. There are ponds down the road so it attracts lots of creatures. I happen to love toads and frogs and yes I was one of those kids who would put a toad in my Mom's face to see her reactions. :scared1:

I like frogs and toads. When we were little my brother and I would see how many we could catch.

That's exactly why I like screens on my windows and my doors. We have frogs and toads here in Kansas and a few snakes.
Anything reptilian is a no go for me. EEEEWWWW!!!!

Beccy, I knew I liked you for a reason ;) I was thinking the exact same thing :teeth:

Kimmie, you do like your froggy collection, don't you? :p

I gotta say most frogs don't freak me out. My husband has a username that is for a cute little tree frog from Puerto Rico... but I could understand why they are not liked by many

I loved that!!!! Especially since you had no clue that coqui was my sweetie :teeth:

I don't like frogs anywhere. I know they have a place in this world but I don't feel the need to be near them, ever.

I felt :( on Wed night...

Came home from golfing....Friend pulled into my driveway...Im getting my clubs out of the trunk, when i see it. A BIG frog that had its right legs/side run over. He was struggling to live. I felt absolutely horrible because Frogs are good.

I ended up getting him off the ground as gently as I could then took him to a place he could go to the big lillypad in the sky. If you are wondering, yes, I did end his suffering. It wasnt easy...

I still feel bad about it...:(

Im trying hard to finally accept them- just not put right in front of my face though.
DS loves catching them especially on our summer vacas. He puts them right into a bucket cos he knows they dont like being handled. He does let them back in their ponds. Seems there is a pond whereever we go.
