EWR offsite parking

For the first time I will need to leave my car at the airport. Anyone have suggestions on good (& cheap) offsite parking.

We are too. We are leaving tomorrow for CA and I made a reservation at Avistar by EWR. We parked there for JFK before and it was a great experience, recommended by Disers.

I fly out of EWR regularly on business and always park my car in the on-site economy lot ($10 per day) and take the free shuttle bus to the terminals and have never had a problem. Conversely we used Avistar once 2 years ago and it took forever for them to pick us up when we returned, and then my car had a new scratch in it which they were very unapologetic for.

Obviously my experience does not mean that one is inherently better than the other, but just don't automatically assume that off-site is better, safer, cheaper or faster.

I also use Avistar as off-site parking at EWR. Very reliable. Car has always been warm and windows cleaned during the winter.

They do have coupons if you make a reservation on line.

If you have an early am flight you might look at a park n fly package. Country Suites has a package.

We flew to Ft. Lauderdale in November 2004 & parked at the budget lot, too. We had an evening flight and still got a parking space close to the shuttle pick-up. No problems when we picked it up either!
