EWP group?

I'm sorry for confusing your friends "Marc" and "Mike", Elaine! Well, at least I remembered the first letter of the name correctly! :)

I agree with you - it's only Tuesday and this week is dragging - it feels like the long weekend will never get here. And I'm sure that it's even more difficult for you, since you know that your house is waiting for you at the end of the weekend! We will be doing similar things, this weekend - getting ready for Frank's move. I'm trying to do a few tiny projects around my house each night, to get it straightened up - I made lists of what needs to be thrown out, moved, or stored in each room. We only have about 6 weekends left until Frank moves, and we have plans to do some "wedding stuff" (ie: meet with musicians, florist, etc.) on some of those weekends, so I really need to stop being so lazy after work and get some things accomplished, then! And I just reminded Frank, yesterday, to do the things that you mentioned - notify the post office, bank, etc., before he moves!

If you have a chance, once you're moved and settled in, please scan in one or two of your wedding photos - it would be wonderful to see them! :)

And I agree with you about having whom ever we feel comfortable with in the wedding, and who we really want to participate. Gary is like a member of my family - he's the one person who's consistently "been there for me" throughout my life, ever since elementary school, since we've known eachother since kindergarten! We're very much alike and have the same feelings and philosophies about everything from religion and politics to music and hobbies, so we understand eachother very well. I'm lucky enough to still be close to my best girl friends from elementary school, high school, and college, as well, but Gary is even more family-like to me than they are, and that's why I really want him to be a part of our celebration. Unfortunately, my friendship with him suffered a bit during my first marriage - my "ex" couldn't stand Gary - I think he felt threatened that I had such a long standing relationship with another man. Also, Gary is gay (I hope that I didn't offend or bother you or anyone else out there by saying that!), and I think that that "freaked out" my "ex", in a way. My "ex" made it very uncomfortable and difficult for me to speak to Gary on the phone (bellowing like Fred Flintstone for me to get off the phone, etc.) and wasn't thrilled when I made plans for all of us to get together in person. But our friendship survived that, and Frank really likes Gary and understands his importance in my life. That's the main reason that Gary was questioning being my "Man of Honor" - I think that he was somehow afraid that if I got married again, we wouldn't be able to talk or see eachother comfortably or often any more. Anyway, I'm glad that he realizes that Frank wants him to be a part of his life, as well as mine, and decided to be in our wedding!

Thank you for your ride descriptions / advice! Sometimes, my imagination gets carried away and I envision things to be a lot "scarier" or more threatening than they really are! Well, I have 280 days to psyche myself up for trying some attractions which I've never tried before! I think that I could handle bumpy or jerky rides - it's just those huge drops and things which pop out and startle me which I'm wary of! I wish that we were all at WDW, right now! I think that we could all use a vacation!

Speaking of which.........here come Don, Kas, Bo, and Marv with our morning coffee and pastries! They also have copies of today's Orlando Sentinel for all of us, as well copies of the weekly guides to what's going on at the World, this week. Haven't been over to EPCOT in awhile......maybe today is the day to try Test Track!

Have a great day, Everyone! :)

Just checking in really quickly... I wanted to see how you guys liked the new avitar I have. I got the inspiration from Lisa... let me know what you think :D

Hi everyone!

How are you all today? Anyone feel like a stroll through World Showcase?

I am in such a relaxed mood todaythat all I feel like doing is taking a nice relaxed stroll.

IASW...I love your wedding dress. It's beautiful!

Helenabear.....How is the job hunt going for Luis? How is the moving going? Have you rented the apartment yet?

SG - how was your weekend? How goes the family things?

Hi jstmee how are you?

WE GET THE HOUSE ON FRIDAY :D

Okay I am done now  But that is the official word on that. We get it Friday. Luis is still looking. He has had a few offers but nothing really worth taking (massive pay cuts for phone support, or icky 12 hour days rotating between days and nights) but a few more things might come his way soon. Our apartment is effectively rented. The guy's references checked out and now he just has to get his deposit it. He lives in VA so it will probably take longer and he made sure he could get the apartment Oct. 1st w/o a problem (which it isn't) so that looks tko be taken care of.

You know Shannon, after the day I had, I could use a long stoll in the World Showcase. I will have to join you for that.

Lisa, you know Mike... Marc... they're all the same to me ;) Seriously it would be easy to confuse the two and I am surprised you got it that close! And you know what's really funny... Marc is gay as well and his first question he asked me about being the Man of Honor was "Do I have to wear a dress?" He isn't a cross dresser but we joke about his being gay because he can honest to goodness be soooo stereotypically gay... and he is kind of proud of it. I love him to death and I wouldn't change him for the world :D

Well I think I will join Shannon on her walk now. I hope all is well with everyone!

Whew, people. I have been out there wandering alone in the wilderness. I downloaded a 'free' firewall yesterday and started having problems with my server. I went in and uninstalled it but it was even worse then. I contacted my server's tech support and played many hours of Free Cell whilst they kept me on hold. Finally got ahold of a most pleasant young man who walked me thru some steps to correct my problem. Did not work, back on hold, more Free Cell etc. for THREE more times. After the last time I was not even able to boot my computer. Not quite the blue screen of death, but close. I finally was able to pull out my emergency boots and after much effort got it up and running with just a few tweaks necessary to get it back to 'normal'. The kicker to all this was that the last 'tech's" final words to me were "Is there anyone in your home who knows more about computers than you do?" Don't know whether to bop him on the head or laugh. Guess I'll laugh since I really am not as knowledgeable as I should be BUT I was able to correct what these paid professionals could not!!! :bounce: :pinkbounc :bounce: :pinkbounc

The family thing went great until later as everyone was getting ready to leave. Got a dreaded call from DSD. She was calling from the new car lot and had a new car picked out and all she needed was for us to cosign for her. Um, she has really bad credit and has a history of not paying for anything and making really bad choices. We have never cosigned for anyone and would not. Not rich or poor but we have worked really hard for what we have. DSD decided threats would work so she told her DD that he 'owed' her. He paid child support for many years without getting to see her and when his ex remarried he was advised to allow the new man to adopt so he would 'treat the daughter better'. Very sad situation all around. She informed him that since he had supported out 2 children she deserved the same. Bad choice of words. Our kids had jobs at age 15 and paid for their own cars and insurance. They have turned out to be responsible citizens. Poor DH. He had to have lots of extra hugs to calm his nerves. He worries so much about her and cannot get through to her. One time she called and wanted $5,000 for acting lessons as she had just gotten the part of "Catwoman" in the movie "Batman". Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! We have always told her that if she got into bad trouble or got sick or something she could come here and live as long as she follows the house rules. Did I mention that she is 40 some years old?

Nuff Stuff

Helena, I am so thrilled for you in that it is all working out so far. Hope poor Luis is maintaining his cool. It is a good thing that he will have the time to get the new home in order though. He can spend evenings in here relaxing and use the fancy computers to search for the 'perfect' job. I am so impressed that you made your own wedding dress, not surprised tho. I can cut a board quicker than I can cut out a dress pattern.

Rider, I can relate to your problems with your ex and his behavior when you tried to talk to your friend. I used to have some of that stuff too but I finally put my foot down and it has gotten better. Funny thing is that my MIL and I used to talk on the phone everyday cause we were the only ones our DH's would 'allow' us to call. You are better off out of that kind of controlling atmosphere. He must have been very insecure. Anyone who cares more about what they want instead of what you want is not a fit partner, man or woman. IMHO Who cares what sexual preference your friend has? We are all grownups here and are above that sort of silly nonsense.

CMCathy, we have surely missed you around here. We are glad to see you whenever you can get away for a few moments from all your awesome duties.

You might all be interested in knowing that I will be attending a DIS meet Saturday in Indy. Several people from the forums will be there and there is some talk about laptops and other equipment that will allow 'realtime' photos to be taken. Wheelsie, Serena, Poohlover, Dan Murphy and a couple of dozen others will be there. This will be the very first time I have met anyone I only know from the Internet so I am quite nervous and excited about it.

I am sorry to have rambled on so much about me. I am just all a flitter about so much going on right now. Please forgive me.

I have not had a chance to read the EWP thread yet because my scuba mask is all fogged up but will try to do so soon. Did I mention that I have been on an underwater mission of sorts for the past few weeks? Well, I have, and you would be amazed by all the wonderful and exotic things that are lying at the bottom of Seven Seas Lagoon. I should also mention that you can probably catch my latest escapades on the Animal Planet show, “The Crocodile Hunter.” Yep, you’d be amazed by what Fabio Licious and I have been up to. Simply amazed. Okay, who wants the crocodile pumps? And who wants the crocodile handbag? Have I got a deal for you…

Hey - welcome back, Janet2k! We sure did miss you! Looking forward to viewing your adventures on "The Crocodile Hunter"! Sounds like you and Fabio had a pretty wild time down there, in the Seven Seas Lagoon!

Glad that your computer is back up and running, SG! I would have been totally petrified if something like that happened to me - I would have had no idea what to do (other than call for service!)! Glad that everything is back to the way that it should be! And that is so wonderful that you're going to a DIS Meet, this weekend - I'm sure that it will be a lot of fun! Please say "hi" to everyone out there, for us! And I hope that someone takes lots of photos and posts them, so that we can see! And that was some story about your DSD calling to ask you and your husband to co-sign for her car loan, out of the blue like that. It sounds like your DH has always been there to support your DSD, but there comes a time when you both obviously had to "draw the line". I'm sure that you did the right thing - I'm sorry that you both had to experience that uncomfortable situation. And I know that your DH appreciated all of the extra hugs and encouragement that you gave him!

CONGRATULATIONS, Helenabear and Luis! It's great that you'll have your house on Friday! Does that mean that you will actually be moving into it on Friday? Or over the weekend? Or are you going to slowly start moving in, over the next month? It's good that Luis is holding out for the sort of job that he really wants - no sense in settling for hours which he doesn't want or taking a pay cut unless he absolutely loves or wants the job in question! But it sounds like the offers are definitely rolling in and that he's sure to find something that he will really enjoy, soon! Hey - how did you type words on to that avatar?!!! That is so neat!!! :) And I also think it's neat that you also had a gay male friend "Man of Honor", as well!

Thanks, Bashful64! :)

Speaking of DIS Meets, I still say that some day we will all meet at WDW and watch the EWP together! :)

In the mean time, I understand that Janet2K will be giving a presentation and showing underwater video of her adventures with Fabio Licious in the Suite tonight, immediately following the EWP. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Have a great day, Everyone! :)

Just a quick drop by. I was told that there will be no EWP during the time I visit since the parks close early, can anyone give me any information on this? I am going 9/22-9/30...... I have been studying lately, for the rural route carrier associate position for the post office. Took the test yesterday, so I believe I have a ressie with Fabio for a shoulder massage for later today. My arm is sore from the little black dots you have to fill in. I did well on most of the test, but I think I bombed throughly on the memorization part. Oh well.

I tried to upload pic of my kids. Not sure if it will work or not so bear with me if this post has a messed up picture on it. Hi to ALLLLLLL.

Hi Jstmee! I have never heard of the EWP not being "performed" because the parks close early - in fact, I would think that that would be MORE of a reason to show it! To the best of my knowledge, the EWP "performs" EVERY night and NEVER fully "shuts down" (hence the "mini pageant" that those of us saw when visiting in the spring and early summer, when 1/2 of the EWP was down for rehab!) I think that you will be able to see it! Has anyone heard anything different? Where will you be staying? I'm sure that the CM's at your resort will be able to confirm whether or not the EWP is running, when you get there! You are so lucky - your trip is coming up so soon! :) I'm sure that you did a wonderful job on your test! Do you know when you'll be finding out the results? We'll have to celebrate, here in the Suite, after you receive them! And please upload a picture of your children so that we can see! (Then, after you've done it, please teach me how to upload a picture into a post - hee hee!) Have a nice day! :)

jstmee, I too have never heard about shutting down the parade because the parks close early. Maybe they were thinking of the Electrical Parade in MK  When we were there in Oct., the parks closed at 6 or 7 pm (well MK that is) and they had the EWP every single night... it was a very nice thing to be able to see right outside my patio window. I am sure you passed your test with flying colors. In the mean time the massages are excellent here :D

Janet, glad to see you resurfaced here ;) I can't wait to hear all about your underwater expeditions tonight!

Rider, I am glad you like the avitar. I just did a "right click" on the mickey mouse hat avitar and saved it to my computer. I then changed the file type from .jpg to .bmp since all I have to edit things in is Paint. Then I went into my Paint program and zoomed in as big as I could get to it and carefully pixel by pixel wrote out the words myself. I had a heck of a time with the 'W' but I think it looks okay. Of course then I uploaded it to my website and then put it on for my avitar. It didn't take too long and I kind of like it :D Luis and I are holding out for at least a "better job" than what some of what he has been getting. I don't mind a pay cut but really, some of what he has been offered is way too beneath him. I, of course, will let you know when he gets a good job!

SG, I am glad you are back and running ;) I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my internet access... whenever I move, my computers always move the exact same day I move to live in a place. I just cannot live without it... probably bad but I guess I have grown up with computers all of my life.

Well I have spent a little too much time here, so I had better get myself back to work :D

Such an amazing group of talented people we have here. Helena, may I please borrow your EWP logo? I would like to use it on my postings when I visit other threads. I would like them to know where my 'home' is. Pretty please?

Can't wait to see the pictures of Jstmee's children. I love kids. They are the best thing I can think of and never a bit boring. My oldest grandson (10) told me the other day that he 'felt like he was invisible at school). It is just so interesting to know how their minds work and see them grow and learn. What an interesting job you are going for. We have the first rural carriers museum in our town. My best friend's mother was a carrier way back when women did not do such things. Hope you live where the weather is accomadating to your travels though.

I cannot imagine how wonderful it would be to stay at a resort where you could see the EWP, fireworks and other wonderful things from the comfort of your room. Now that we are retired people and stretching our income further and further it will probably not be in our future but it is a lovely dream. I will have to fulfill that fantasy in our suite. Our home is always the center of activities on our Heritage Days as it is close to everything and on the parade route so I have a little sense of how wonderful it would be to be actually 'in the middle of things'.

Janet, I am sure that the croc handbags and shoes are faux. You and our wonderful Fabio WERE down there photographing the croccodiles in order to replicate the beautiful skin texture for your acessories. Knowing that killing crocodiles for the skins is illegal and being such a kind hearted person I know you would not do anything wrong. (smile) Looking forward to seeing the videos of your adventure. Please remember that I blush easily tho!

I will make it a goal for us all to meet at the EWP one of these days. What a pleasant thought that will be to get me through those days when everything goes wrong and I need a goal to strive for. (grin)

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day! Life here is much the same and tomorrow we may go buy some new furniture. Rhodes is having their 0% financing until 2003 so we can't pass that up (and it won't hurt us right now financially) and we found a set of furniture that I love. It has this amazing chase lounger that just hugs you... I may have to get another one (or five maybe) for here :D As for that little "EWP GROUPIE" Mickey Mouse Hat, I hope everyone uses it. I had meant to say that earlier... but sometimes the thoughts just don't get through. The link where I have the hat on my webpage ishttp://www.geocities.com/helenabear/ewp.bmp. You should be able to copy that link in and get the DIS to upload it for you. Sometime I will have to go to WDW and get a Mickey Mouse Hat that actually says that on the back.

Linda, you know if you could find another couple to "bunk" with, the cost of going to stay at the Poly Concierge wouldn't be so bad. Two adults does add $50 a night but if you divide it all out, it comes to a more reasonable price. And the money we saved by eating breakfast in the loung every morning and eating dinner there at night, more than made up for the price. I did an estimate one time of how much it would be for four adults sharing a room... six days/ seven nights with airfare and estimated spending money. It came to about $1650 a person  but compared with how much Luis and I spent for our honeymoon that looks like a good deal  I made a really cool spreadsheet that soon I will make it so that we could get a good idea of cost of a trip like that (with a bunch of different rooms listed) might cost... I just haven't gotten around to seeing if that is possible yet.

Well I could use a nice lemonade and maybe they could turn that wave machine back on for me... I could use a nice relaxing evening. And I too will hope that someday we all can meet to watch the EWP together... it could happen...

Ahhh, Helenabear, thank you so much for the ideas about how to afford the upscale resorts but truth be told I am plain just too cheap to do it. Would rather have a cheaper room to ourselves than share with anyone else either. Different strokes for different folks. We spend longer lengths of time at Disney as I have trouble getting around sometimes and need extra time to see everything. I 'cook' 2 meals a day in the room to keep expenses down but mostly because we just hate those crowded food courts. We often drive down to eat breakfast at Dixie Landings also. I cannot eat large amounts of food, looks to the contrary also. We live in a huge old home that I have rehabbed thru the years to worth many times what we paid for it, furnished it with garage sale and auction finds and we buy a new car every 5 years and pay cash. The money others spend on interest we spend on Disney. You are so lucky to be able to have those great sales going on just when you need to furnish your new home. Most of those sales are at the end of the year. The lounge sounds just cozy as can be. I may have to drop by and take a cat nap someday!! Actually that might be a real dream as my sister in Columbus has invited us to come for an extended visit. I have never been to COSI and would love to check it out. Been to the Columbus Zoo many years ago and I am sure it is even better now. I will let you know if we head that way.

I love the idea of us all using the EWP hat in oujr posts. We are just as special as the cheerleaders (yep, I know we have some of them in here too and they are just doubly special) :jester: I will put it on my thingie when I get a chance.

I went ahead and put my picture on here since they are planning on posting 'real time' photos this weekend anyway. Rider sent me a PM that she has added some great pictures to her postings also. We are getting so colorful in here.

Went shopping and found the best Christmas present for my littlest boy. It is a comfortor that has every conceiveable type of sports ball on it. Fits in with his room decor just perfectly. He stands and shoots basketballs for hours at a time. We had a lad from French Lick that did the same in his youth so maybe we have a future star in the making?

I went over to walk the Boardwalk this morning. A nice tall icy glass of orange juice on a bench overlooking the lagoon is just a wonderful way to start the day. If I had won the big lottery last week I had my home in Celebration all picked out. Have any of you ever done the tour over there? Lots of rules and such but I don't mind a bit. I love the small yards with courtyards and private areas. Sort of like the home we have now. Very small yard but so secluded and private. I have lots of zinnias blooming and the butterflies just zoom all over the yard in the sunlight. Such a pleasant view. I had a nice visit with Jstmee, Helena and Rider this afternoon out on our veranda. Rider was whispering with some of the guys. She must be up to something again. Can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve. I saw Jstmee practicing her one handed driving on Blue Bonnet. We will all have to come up with some extra special things for Luis and Helena this weekend because they will be in sore need of some TLC after all their hard work this weekend.

I will let you all know about my meeting with some of our good friends in Indy this Saturday. I am especially looking forward to meeting Wheelsie as I have read lots of her posts and she sounds like 'swell on wheels.!

Good evening all. I am checking to see if I have my new hat on properly. Hope you don't mind my using you guys in this way?

Hi!

Just wanted to check in quickly and say "hello" to everyone! Will write more later! Just wanted to say "thanks" to Helenabear for making the great avatar, and for letting all of us use it, too! And thanks again to SG for helping with my picture posting, as well - I'm now working on a DIS web site.....but it needs A LOT of work!

Have a great day, Everyone - will be in touch again, soon! See you all at the monorail station in an hour - I think it's an MK day, today! :)

Hi everyone, just popping in for a quick lunch. I am glad you guys like the new hats we have... wear them in good health :D

SG, I totally understand what you mean about the desire to have your own room. I'd share it with my dad & sister (because we have in the past) but I'd rather be alone. I dream about going back to the Poly (only my second stay there... once when I was about 9) because it was so beautiful and wonderful and the staff was excellent. I told myself nothing could be worth that much to have to go back... boy was I wrong :( So now I don't know where we will stay when we go back. The convenience of the monorail and everything else was just so worth it to us... I don't know what we'll do. The trip that we went on in '99 was at Coronado Springs (an excellent resort) and before then we always stayed at reasonably priced placed... and I got so used to taking the bus everywhere so now I am way too spoiled. Well we don't go that often (and I really had to talk Luis into going for our honeymoon since we had just gone with my family the year before) so maybe we'll keep staying at the Poly (yes wishful thinking) and if we do, anyone here is invited to join us in our room to watch the EWP. Well I won't have to worry about this for a while as we have bigger things to deal with in the mean time.

Well I should get back to work unfortunately but I surely enjoy every moment I get to spend here.

Helenabear, what a wonderful thing you did in making the distinctive avatar for our group. Bet it brings in a few newcomers just to see what we are up to. Being that I have never stayed at any of the fancier resorts I don't know what I am missing. We have stayed at the AS, CBR, Port Orelans (used to be our favorite) and the Institute back when it was called the Club Villas. Since they messed up PO it just has taken away any incentive to stay at a more expensive place. We would love to come over and join you at the Poly for a viewing of the EWP. You are so nice to invite us all.

Rider, hope you are having a relaxing day in preparation for all the work you have ahead of you this weekend.

I am about to head out to the Contemporary for a long lunch. I enjoy watching the monorail glide along.

Hi Everyone!

I always stay in the MK resorts......not because they are "deluxe resorts", but for sentimental reasons. When my mother and I first started visiting WDW in the 70's, of course there WERE only the MK resorts! So now, even though I am curious to explore some of the other beautiful and newer resorts, I remain loyal to the originals! I remember that back then, the way you made reservations (believe it or not) was to WRITE LETTERS to WDW Guest Services, and basically beg for a room in either the Polynesian, Contemporary, or Golf Resort (which is now Shades of Green)! My mother used to type letters on a typewriter (with carbon paper between the sheets, no less!) and send the same letter to WDW EVERY DAY until they wrote back and said that they had a room available during the time that we wanted to visit! It's very weird, when I think about it, now - the fact that everything was done through the mail! We always tried to get into the Poly, but it was virtually impossible to do so, back then. So although we went to the Luau there every year, I didn't actually get to stay there until I was an adult. Coincidentally, the first time I stayed there was the one trip that I took to WDW by myself......and I have stayed there every year since! There's just something about staying in that part of the World that feels like home to me! And the fact that the EWP passes by is a major factor, as well - I can't leave WDW without seeing it! I've seen the EPCOT and MGM resorts from the busses, and they all look very nice, distinctive, and interesting. I am curious to see what they're like. But it's unlikely that one could ever tear me away from the MK area (especially now that it has even more sentimental meaning for me because Frank proposed to me, there)! And speaking of the Poly......since our gentlemen have the weekend off (they work so hard for us - they deserve the weekend off!) for Labor Day, why don't we head over to the Kona Cafe for some Tonga Toast and great coffee? :)

Guess what? When I got home from work yesterday, there was a message on my answering machine.....from WDW! They were calling in response to some complimentary letters that I had sent about various CM's whom we encountered there in June, and wanted to talk to me about them. I can't wait to call them back....I am always happy to ramble on about WDW to anyone who will listen.....especially to someone FROM WDW! :)

CONGRATULATIONS, ELAINE AND LUIS!!!!!! Today is THE DAY, isn't it??!! Lots of good luck and happiness in your new home - officially!!!!! :) :) :) And lots of good luck with the purchasing of your new furniture, too - I'm sure that you will pick out some great things - can't wait to see more pictures!

And I can't wait to hear about your adventures at the DIS Meet, tomorrow, Linda! Please be sure to "report in" to us as soon as you have a chance!

Take care and have a great weekend, Everyone! :)

Just wanted my "milestone" 500th post to be "in the Suite"! :)

Congratulations RIDER!!!! WTG We are so pleased and flattered that you would honor us with your 500th posting. Even though the fellows have the weekend off they have not left yet and I saw them practicing a special dance routine for this evening to celebrate your verbosity. Thank you so much for the history of the MK resorts. I can relate to your love for the area. You reminded me of things I knew but had not thought of. I remember the awe of the first time we went to WDW. It was so magical as I would never have thought I would get to go there when I was growing up. It was as unimaginable as Europe or the Moon. We stayed off site the first time. We had been heading for the World's Fair (New Orleans?) and kept running into people at the rest stops that were so disappointed in it so we changed course and went to DW. Money was very tight in those days and it was quite an investment for us but worth it. The next trip we skrimped and saved and stayed at the Villas so we would have more room to spread out and also wanted to be on site so we could enjoy the transportation. I believe that was the nicest place we stayed. Quiet, restful and could always find a pool that was not crowded. Then we moved up to a package at CBR. For the directionally challenged it was awful as all the rooms looked alike and it was so huge we kept getting lost all the time. We found PO and found our home. So beautiful and romantic and had a sitdown rest. and the courtyard. We loved going across the water to eat at Dixie Landings. PO was so small that buses were a breeze. The pool was so much fun and walking along the paths in the moonlight was awesome but the piano player that played each evening was the capper. When they changed most of that we just started going to the cheapest. The only complaint I have about the AS is that there is no comfortable chair to sit on. We don't spend much time in the room so it is ok and with the money we save we can go for more days (10+ days next time). I love the idea that it is at the end of the main road too so it is harder for me to get lost. LOL Your mother must have a wonderful heart and imagination hidden among her problems to have gone thru all that effort to get to DisneyWorld. Maybe your shared love for the place will bring you together one day. Much Pixie Dust is being sent her way to open her heart to see what a wonderful daughter she has and how much you guys have in common.

Helenabear and Luis - Blessings upon your new home. I hope you have everything organized and don't forget to pack things you need for your first night in one box, clearly marked so you will have sheets and a toothbrush at least. Got to have a good start to your new lives.

I have to go help the guys rehearse. They need a few suggestions on what parts to wiggle and when. The things I have to do for you guys in here. Sigh. (ornery grin)
