Hey Everyone!
Hi Linda!
Thanks for sending over those links - the lamp that you're interested in is beautiful! In fact, all of Thelma's stained glass lamps are gorgeous! I always loved lamps and chandeliers like those. My father has a beautiful Tiffany chandelier hanging in his dining room.........and we have a pretty good "fake" version, hanging in ours!
I hope that you have a nice trip, this weekend! And so glad that our date is set for 'Ohana, too! I'm not surprised at all that you got that half million dollar question on "Millionaire" correct - after all, you ARE a Disney-MGM Studios "Millionaire"-Hot-Seat-Star!
Sorry to hear about Dalton's report card, but you're right - he's probably just too smart and so his frustration about perhaps being ahead of his classmates might be coming out in some of his behaviors. It's good that his teacher sees that he's intellectually advanced and that that probably accounts for his actions. I'm sure that it's nothing to worry about and that his next marks will reflect the improvements! And it's so great that your reading students are so motivated - it sounds like you have a great bunch, there!
To answer your questions, I am hoping to take some classes this summer in preparation for hopefully applying to the School of Public Planning and Policy in the fall. There are a few pre-requisite classes that I need to complete in order to apply, so I'm hoping to "get those out of the way" over the summer. I haven't done anything about a job search - I'm just so preoccupied with figuring out what the heck I'm doing with my life - and probably some other stuff that I can't identify - that I haven't been able to concentrate on job searching. I have, however, joined a Nutrition Advocates program on campus. Even though the rest of the group members are 16 - 18 years younger than I am (?!?!), I figure that getting some practice presenting nutrition education seminars on campus would be a good experience for me, and would be something field-related to stick on my resume. I'll figure it all out, one of these years!
Hi Colleen!
That's so wonderful that your next WDW trip is coming up so soon.......and that you have another one planned so soon after that! As Linda said, so sorry that we will both be down there right in between your 2 trips! But you and your family will be at the Poly during my DH's and my "traditional week" there - we've stayed at the Poly during the 1st week of June for the past 4 years! He proposed to me there on 6/3/01, we started our honeymoon there on 6/3/02, and we celebrated our first wedding anniversary there on 6/2/03!
We're "breaking tradition" and going to POR / DCL in May this year, because that fits in best with our respective school terms. Anyway, I know that you and your family will have a fantastic time on both trips! And that's so neat that your Mom and hopefully your Dad will be joining you all on the latter trip! You are all going to have such a great time! And I hope that the weather holds out for your drive, as well! With the exception of one day of snow showers, it's been relatively warm and clear here, for the past few days, too - and they're predicting that the temperatures might be in the 60's, this weekend - yea!!!!
So neat that you're familiar with the Flemington outlets and stores - and of course with the Point Pleasant Boardwalk........Jenkinson's........Martell's...........! Here are some pictures that may bring back the memories of summer and get you looking forward to your next visit to the Garden State:

(so sorry for the long link! And so sorry to bore you with these again, Linda, as you've already seen them!)
Speaking of Flemington, have you ever visited New Hope, PA? That's another neat place for shopping and dining! And I'm sure that you're familiar with the annual Balloon Festival at the Readington Airport, too?
Well, time to get some work done before Frank comes home! Hope that all is well with all of you and hope that you're all having a good night!
