Lol, my dad and I have gotten into arguments about this. We believe in different things...but that's ok!
I don't remember the difference between the two 'creation theories' so I couldn't tell you which I believe in, but I find it hard to believe that a monkey one day formed into what we are now. How did all that hair/fur suddenly get shorter/disappear? What caused the 'language' to change from a bunch of grunts to what we speak now? What caused them to stop eating banana's/berries and other various plants to eating both that AND meat? I just....don't understand their reasoning behind that whole thing.
If evolution does truly exist though, I still think that there would have to be something there to cause it happen. I don't think that it would just occur of it's own accord and that's where I believe God/what ever else is out there comes in.
Until someone is able to fully explain what it is that NATURALLY causes a monkey to turn into a human or a chick in an egg to start forming the skin of a lizard (I saw that happen on one of these shows my dad was watching once-he likes to torture everyone with the science channel when he's home for lunch.

), I'm sticking to creation.
1. There are hundreds of thousands of creation theories, not just two.
2. Evolution happens during long long long periods of time, to help that organism survive.
3. Their hair might grow shorter because of a warmer climate, etc.
4. They learned to speak as their brains grew bigger. Ho mo sapiens, I
believe (not 100% sure) is when humans started to speak.
5. They started walking upright so they could carry more food at a time.
5. They stopped foraging for food and started growing it over a long period of time. Some groups would like to re-visit the same area year after year so they would plant seeds of the food they preferred, and clear out the plants that they didn't like to make more room.
6. They started eating animals when it got easier to get them (i.e The Stone Age, where weapons matured.)
7. One theory to why they started cooking food is when a forest fire started, and groups still wanted to eat.
The "reasoning behind the whole thing" is survival of the fittest. Animals/plants have to change to survive.
It happens over millions and millions of years. There was not a monkey one day and then a fully matured human being the next. It's a process, humans are always changing.
And as far as the
whole explaination of what 'NATURALLY' happened when african apes evolved into humans, try picking up a science book. It's proven fact.
I hate it when people say they don't believe in evolution when they don't really know anything about it.
