Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warner Brothers has gone completely mad out of their heads. On the CBS evening news they showed Warner Brothers revealing the new Bugs Bunny. His name is Buzz Bunny and he is black and yellow and looks like an evil Japanese cartoon character. Warner Brothers decided that it was time for an update and that Bugs needed to be freshened up. The new Bugs is scary. My 10 year old ds was freaked out. It just isn't right. As far as I am concerned this decision is worse than NEW COKE and JANET JACKSON'S wardrobe malfunction. Ahhhh!!
:earseek:  :earseek:  :earseek:  :earseek:

I saw that. I think it looks scary too. My ds who is 7 thinks he is soooo cool! I don't get it. :confused3

I didn't see the story, but that sounds so outrageous that I did a Google Search on "Buzz Bunny" so I could see it. Bugs is NOT what came up :earseek:.

We saw it!!! :scared1: :sad2: :sad1: I HATE IT! My 5 yr olds want to write a letter and complain and I think I will be joining them! ::yes::

ok, I haven't seen it, somebody post a picture of it!! Please!!

The Wall Street journal had a picture on the front page of section B today (their web site requires subscription, sorry!). I thought it was just me! After all, I hated the whole "babies" thing (Baby Bugs, Baby Mickey, Baby Kermit...), and clearly there was a market for it. They're aiming to perk up their viewership on WB--good luck with that, I think it's the wrong way to go, but the article said Buzz Bunny tested through the roof in their target demographic.

Hey everyone, go to the Warner Brothers web site and go to the looney tune message boards. People are complaining big time about the new Bugs Bunny.

Someone has now posted a picture of the scary new Buzz Bunny in the message area of the Warner Brothers Looney Tune area if you want to get a look at him.

oh my gosh, how weird looking! i'm sure it won't last long. like another poster said, the baby looney tunes thing never took over the real Bugs.
personally i don't care all that much - i was never allowed to watch looney tunes when i was little cos my parents thought it was too violent. i finally saw it when i was in middle school and thought it was totally redundant and unfunny, especially compared to WB's big show at the time, Animaniacs  (why won't they bring THAT back?!) i realized later while watching Quack Attack (that old donald duck show on disney channel half a decade ago) that disney cartoons could get pretty violent too, but nowhere near as many guns and fighting as looney tunes. these days my favorite cartoon show is house of mouse ::MickeyMo although many people don't like the characters from all the different disney films mixing together, i love it! to each his own i guess.

that is what i got from the wb site... I am still in shock...

I saw it on Regis & Kelly this morning, I don't like it.

I am mad now!!! Grr-ness!!!                    (they say you can use twenty, and I make full use of all 20...)

Ridiculous! Why can't they leave Bugs alone? He's a classic! They've always gotta be messing with something. Buzz is scary. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:    :scared: :scared: :scared:

That's stupid, why don't they just introduce the new Buzz Bunny as his cousin or something and leave the original alone? :confused3

Woah! What were they thinking!?!?!? :earseek: :sad2:

Bugs..my sweet, wonderful, funny amazing Bugs..WHAT IN HELL HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU? :sad2: :scared1:

I think we should start a letter writing campaign to bring back the old Bugs. This new Bugs or Buzz or whatever they call him is scary and ugly looking. The world is scary enough as it is without turning our beloved classic cartoon creatures into something straight out of a drug-induced gothic nightmare.
