Everything you need to know about WDW Christmas- Tips & Secrets

That last response was incredible! So far I have made a couple changes to my itinerary thanks to your help. Maybe other people will also have other ideas to make this the greatest first Disney World Experience for my daughter!

15 Dec Dinner @ Chef Mickeys at Contemporary
16 Dec Magic Kingdom @ 0900 lunch at MK, back to the hotel til 1600, back to MK, dinner at Crystal Palace
17 Dec DHS dinner @ Mama Melrose
18 Dec DTD Dinner @ T-rex Cafe! My daughter has seen every Land Before Times and we love to play Dinosaurs at the park!!
19 Dec Dinner at Le Cellier (good place for kids? I am assuming she will get a nice long rest when we start our journey around the world)
20 Dec (did not mention this before) Citywalk dinner @ Margaritaville

As for things for my wife and I to do after hours. We have PI and Citywalk, any other place maybe outside Disney that the two of can get out have some adult fun?

Your responses are amazing thank you so much so far!

Looks good so far! :thumbsup2
Le Cellier is good for the whole family, but if you want a character experience in EPCOT for your little girl, look into Garden Grill (Farmer Mickey and Chip/Dale) or Akershus (All the Princesses!):
Garden Grill:http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=374
Akershus:http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?restaurant.ID=126
Whatever you decide, please do make your dining reservations soon -- these places book up very, very quickly. You can do it online http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/ or thru the phone 407-WDW-DINE. Happy Planning!!! :goodvibes

Alright we have Kouzzinas (sp) reserved for 15Dec, Chef Mickeys for Breakfast and Crystal Palace for dinner reserved on 16Dec, had to settle with Mama Melrose late lunch with the Fantasmic package on the 17Dec, Trex cafe reserved on 18Dec (early Dinner, couldnt believe it was all booked!!)
They told my wife that you can't book the CP Dinnner packages until late july early august, which means I don't have a reservation for Le Cellier. Does this sound correct?
Should I make a separate ressie just in case Le Cellier is hosting the package, or some reason it is all booked up?

Thank you so much jacandsamsmom for telling me to get my reservations in order, did not relieze how far the book up!!

:thumbsup2 Lots of good info here. Just planted the December 2011 seed last night and have a countdown though DH has agreed to nothing :lmao: Wish me luck! pixiedust:

You can call T-Rex directly and get your reservation. Disney is only allotted so many of the reservations. I called the restaurant and got the day and I time I wanted. IT was wide open and we are going in Dec.

You're very welcome! :thumbsup2

Yes, CP Dinner Packages are not available yet, check often though. The buzz around the boards is late July. We'll see.... ;)
I would make a ressie for Le Celllier just in case you can't get the package. You can't convert your regular dining ressie to a CP Package unfortunately, though. I would just have a back-up ressie in case because Le Cellier books up pretty heavily.

I know that the pre-packaged desserts such as the chocolate cakes at the Quick Service restaurants have fall leaves in the fall in orange, yellow and red. Then in November they switched to little red and green sprinkles of bears and trees. I hope this helps!

There are the beautiful gingerbread cookies at the Grand Floridan and Beach Club sold near the Gingerbread House and Carousel and the Marketplace at BC.

We might be interested in a CP package for 12/17. Have these been opened up yet? If not, any idea when?

I'm just looking for some stuff that may not be well-known to a lot of people, but we, DW and DD (4) would enjoy. Thx.

I'm so glad to have found this thread- thank you for bumping it! We'll be there Dec. 17-21 with our two boys. They have never been to WDW for the holidays!

WDW Christmas Trip Dec 16-22

Hi all you disney fans!

I've been a member of disboard since '07, but have yet to participate in sharing my trip plans. So here goes.....

Cast: DW-myself, DH, DD-7yrs(first time visit)

Dec 16th- arrive early am-Alaska Airlines...Magical Express to POP. Hopefully get early check in(request re-furb room), but if not leave bags and head over to Animal Kingdom. Have rezzie for Tusker House-Donald breakfast at 1020am. Spend day at AK, lunch/dinner at either Flame BBQ or
picnic(have question about rezzie for this). After park closing head back to POP for possible swim(weather) early bed for full next day

Let me know how this sounds so far...will post next day soon:lovestruc
