hI, here is the response some of you wanted to know about VKL at RainForestCafe (AK) . I was able to use them 1 Adult , 2Child vouchers at RFC (AK) at 5pm this sunday 8/15/04. I ate to my hearts content! Our waiter Eddie allowed my family to order the LARGE keepsake drinks bottle with our vouchers. ANY (3)Appertizers we want and Anything for Entrees for the kids off the menu. I got $157.00 worth of food for the 3 VKL vouchers. Now thats a deal !!!:jumping1: :jumping1:

I regards to Cinderella's breakfast and using vouchers..the question about a 2 1/2 year old.

You do not have to pay any thing for the toddler under 3. No voucher. They bring them a kid's plate. You must use a voucher for everyone over age 3. This does work out a bit cheaper since the vouchers are all inclusive including tax and tip. I used them in May. Great time at CRT.

How much are the vouchers?

Thanks!

I purchased 2 of the lunch vouchers and was thinking of using them at Rainforest Cafe, but I'm looking at some other options too - does anyone know what time lunch ends or is it different at each restaurant? I have a Fantasmic package Aug 25 at Hollywood and Vine, but I'm wondering if we should use them at Brown and Derby and take our chances with getting into Fantasmic. I know it is mentioned that Rainforest can be used for lunch or dinner, but has anyone had any problem going for dinner?

Another question about the Q & C, if we are using them on a platter, do you still get a side, or just the fries that come with the Burger or sandwich? Wondering if we can get side salads with it.

Thanks!

momof2cuties,
Using the Fantasmic! dinner package will save you time waiting in a hot, sticky line for an hour or more while you wait for them to drop the ropes for entry into the theater. The seats are not the best (the the far right of the stage) but you will have a seat and you won't have to wait in line forever to get it.

Chances are very good that if you choose to not do the dinner package, you will still get into Fantasmic! without a problem. However, you may have to stand, have a partially obstructed view or other less-than-desireable seating. If you join the queue late, you do run the risk of not getting in. It's not a very big risk but it does happen from time to time.

Regarding the RFC, many people have reported that they have had no problems using the vouchers during the dinner hours. The menu does not change from lunch to dinner and this may be why the vouchers can be used then.

As far as the Q&C vouchers are concerned, getting an additional side included with a platter will depend upon the restaurant. At Beaches & Cream, my experience has been "no". At Tangerine Café in Morocco, they answer is "yes".

The Passporter guidebook lists the hours for all the WDW restaurants. If you have a specific one in mind, you can PM me and I'll look it up for you.

Thanks so much for answering my questions. I think will stick with H & V and use the vouchers at RFC.

I think the whole issue of receiving an extra side depends entirely on what kind of day the CM is having and whether or not a supervisor is watching. All I can say is step up to that counter with a big smile and let honey drip from your lips!!!

It would also be interesting to see if people are allowed extra sides more often during slower days vs. more crowded days. Maybe everyone can try to report where and when they were using the voucher if they were allowed an extra side.

i have used them 5:30 pm for dinner. They have the same menu for lunch and dinner. I think they close around 7pm?

We are a family of 7 and I am seriously considering getting some of these meal vouchers. I just really don't want to limit where we can eat, etc. but so far it sounds like they are worth the money.

My question is when do you present the meal voucher? Do you tell your waitress/waiter that you are ordering with a meal voucher?

Thanks.::MinnieMo

I always presented them first and then sort of asked (like I didn't know) what they recommended and what was and wasn't allowed with the voucher. At some places they'd tell me what was the best way to order the most amount of food for the vouchers and give stuff or work the order in a way I didn't know could be done.

I think they are worth the money, and as long as I can get them (it's very hard for Canadians to get them) I'll keep using them for every trip.

Is there anywhere to buy these vochures from members who have extra ones?

Is it really worth while to go to Connections or the other places?

i wouldn't buy anything from a private seller that cost as much as the ones on site.at least earlier this year at hot wire you got first month free and i joined , ordered my vouchers right away and then once they came quit so didn't pay extra. from a pirvate person, you are taking achance on what you are getting and have no recourse if it's not what they claim. just mho, know lots here sell stuff on ebay but usually they cost as much or more.

Does anyonek know if vouchers are good at Disneyland also?

And if so, are they transferable?

Thanks, all!

I always show the CM the voucher right away. I ask what they allow with them.

I just rejoined Hotwire Savings Club on Tuesday (the 24th) and the Q & C vouchers I ordered arrived yesterday (the 26th)!!

That is incredibly fast!!

I think I know the answer to this already...but, I'll ask anyway :)

we are staying offsite. to eat at the AK Rainforest Cafe, will we have to pay to park, even without going to the Animal Kingdom?

Yes you do have to pay to park. If you arrive late afternoon normally they just wave you through if there is anybody there.

I just got back from WDW and I have some extra vouchers if anybody is interested. I was going to put them on ebay but I thought I would check here first. We found them to be a great deal if you planned your meals. We have a 4 yr old and 6 yr old and just ended up snacking it anytime they were hungry so we didnt use as many as expected.

Email me at madspence2@hotmail.com email me if interested
Thanks
