Thanks Jann!

We are going for 8 days and we have 2 PS reservations. I have never used these before but would like to save some money. I guess I will go with that! Thanks again!

A couple of points until I pull together the total trip report...

The Prime Rib sub is off the menu at Beaches and Cream.

Donald at Pepper Market was FANTASTIC about telling us how to get the most bang for our buck...

Oh, we also have 5 Q&C's left over that I will ship out for Cost (10.50 each). PM me if interested.

We plan on using a couple at Pepper Market...what are some of the better items to order here?

TIA!:D

Well, bang for the buck would be the Prime Rib or the Grilled Rib-eye steak. They are 17.95 or 18.95. Add in a drink for $2.00 then your dessert, and you can save a bundle...

I liked the Burbon Chicken. the Kung Bao chicken was hot, but tasty. You can get both as the Sampler for something like 15.95. Don't hold me to it, I'll have to look at my receipts...

Thank you! :D

my husband got the ribeye and liked it. the desserts were kind of lousy with only afew things to select, most looked like they had been rejects from breakfast when we were there but he still got a good value for the voucher. i got the stir fry special of the day and it was ok...kind of like shopping mall food court chinese food imo . i think it came with rice and an egg roll so I got a lot of food but didn't use a voucher since it was safely locked away in our room:rolleyes:

At pepper market was wondering if you were allowed a "side" with the prime rib or rib eye or if the vegetables counted as that- our server never even made suggestions but then we didn't reay ask - just said we had the vouchers. Even without an addional dish it was well worth the money spent on the voucher but next time I would add a small garden salad if possible.
Ate there last December and again in April and the dessert selection was wonderful - wonder if they have changed it. It is not upscale gourmet dining but I haven't found a better deal for the price and the food was prepared right then (at least what we had - rib eye, prime rib and fajita platter). My DGD (age 17) said her fajitas were the best she has ever had. As often happens I guess it is just how you hit it some days and what your expectations are.

my husband got a steak, baked potato and i think grilled veggies as his entree, no additional side..i believe it came as a "meal" although i think he got to chose his sides from a few things.(??) he got a dessert and drink also but the desserts were really scarce , i think he ended up with a danish or something similar that tasted old. the place was packed so maybe they were busier than usual i don't know. this was january 2004

Just ordered my vouchers from Hotwire. Now I just hope they come in time! I am excited to get them, as I have read so much about the savings! I hope they work out like I expect them to. When we get back, I will let people know if I thought they were a deal. Thanks for all the great ideas everyone! We are staying a couple nights at AKL and then on to SSR for 5 nights and plan on using the vouchers everywhere! Can't wait!

I order'ed 12 Q&C's and 2 adult Breakfast, and 2 Kids Breakfast vouchers and i'm looking forward to using them. I looked at the menu's and decided to order the breakfast vouchers for our Chef Mickey's buffet. With a family of 5 DH, DW, DD-11, DD-7, DS-2 we will save several dollars of the Buffet. Not so much on the price of it, But tip and taxes. As far as the Q&C's I'm planning on using 2 each time at lunches and splitting it all. I'm definalty going to try the pepper mill since I've heard such good things about it.

Help me please!! I cannot find the vouchers listed on either the connections site or the deal pass site. What are they listed under??

They are listed under theme parks and more...... and then Walt Disney World meals.

On both connections and deal pass there is no link for Theme Parks and more. Is that under another heading?

Are you logged in to connections? You can only see the options for Theme park purchases when you are logged in. If you're logged in and you don't see the Theme Parks heading, what are the headings available to you?

Well, I had originally bought 6 Q&C's, but decided to grab 4 more today for a total of 10 for our August trip. I have made "somewhat" of a plan. I am traveling with my DH, my sister and 3 nieces. After looking at all the kids meals, decided that it would be best to just buy them kids meals and pay for them, many of them are only $5.59 and include pop and dessert. (at B&C for example:Served with Fries or Seasonal Fruit and Dessert of the Day For Children under 12-choice of hotdog, mini cheeseburger or grilled cheese as the main entree) My nieces are only ages 4 & 8, they hardley ever eat what you give them. I figured that way I wouldn't be wasting Q&C's. I will save the Q&C's for us three adults.

Now my questions. How are the B&C burgers? Huge? I am wondering if my sis and I should split a meal, I can't do that with DH because he is a big eater so he will need one Q&C on his own, but everytime I have gone to B&C I have gotten the ribeye and after that I am too full to get an ice cream and I have been dying to try the Fudge Mud Slide! (I seem to recall that their sundaes are big enough for two as well, correct?)

We have always used 2 Q&C's per restaurant in the past because like I said DH can eat, but maybe we can get more value if me and my sis share abit.

My second question is about the Pepper Market and specifically the Fajita Platter, does that platter include sides and also how many fajitas does it make?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

Kristin

You can get a regular burger, double burger or triple (I'm pretty sure they had a triple) burger, using the vouchers. My DD and I got a double cheeseburger and split it. They even brought it out already cut in half for us, along with onion rings, already split.

It worked out really well for us...this way we were able to eat our sundae...which we also split. :D

FYI,

Just got my vouchers yesterday (Thursday) from Hotwire! I ordered them on Tuesday, very fast in arriving. Bad news is there is a piece of paper inside saying they are non-refundable-may not be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or check. So if you buy them, they are yours! Just thought I would let people know!

Could anyone who purchased vouchers recently tell when they expire? Do hotwire and connections usually have the same dates?

Mine are good through May 2005, I just got some of them last month and ordered a few more yesterday.
