lunch voucher for dinner or lunch at the Raintree Cafe at AK.

Yes, Absolutely...I did it in Oct. just make sure you have a PS and you'll still need to wait. AK closes at 5:00pm and RFC closes at 7:00pm. Also keep in mind they only run 1 bus from AK very late (at 7:00pm) that goes to all the hotels.

I read that the current Q&C ones expire in May. We are going in early June. Anyone have any idea if these will be offered again with later experation dates, and if so, any idea when? Do all the vouchers expire in May (breakfast and Lunch ones too?). I was really wishing to prepay some of our meals this way... Anyone know when the current vouchers first came out and if there have been vouchers in the past?

I'm seriously considering getting some meal vouchers but I don't want to have any problems. Is one supplier better than another? Has anyone had any problems? Who do you recomend- Hotwire, Connections, Lillian Vernon, EBay? I'm not familiar with this at all and am nervous of making problems for myself. I feel I will be getting mostly Q&C vouchers. We have reservations for CRT breakfast. Should I get a couple of breakfast vouchers as well?

I have been reading this thread for days now... from what I see Ebay is over priced (checked myself and it is true)
The hotwire way seems to get good reviews.
You will save some $ by using vouchers at Cindy's Breakfast because they include Tax and Tip... I think it is pretty close to break even on the kids and a few dollars savings on adults. I hope to be able to use vouchers for our trip, seems like it would be more fun and magicial to NOT see how much we spent on those eggs!

OK! Dear sis just called from PC (they love it!).
She had no problems using her Q&C voucher. She got fried chicken (rave reviews), mashed potatoes (yum) with gravy (so-so), a roll (good), a drink, and a huge chocolate sundae (rave reviews). The total would have been $16+, and she got it all with one Q&C voucher! :D

According to her, the hot "TV dinners" rotate, as to when they are served. Fried chicken Sun and Mon, something else Tues and Wed, meatloaf (I think) Thurs and Fri, etc. They also got a steak wrap which they loved, but didn't use a voucher for that.

edited to add: And the fried chicken dinner also came with green beans ( a little crunchy- "<b>you</b> would like them...") :teeth:

I noticed that Spoodles and Yachtsman Steakhouse are listed on the VKL vouchers. Both of these places are NOT open for lunch though. Has anyone used a VKL at one of these restaurants?

I would give hotwire A+ fast & friendly plus can join month to month ifyou decide to keep it after free month...did not purchase anything but the vouchers but all came with in a week and they were willing to help anyway they could...they gave me "credit" i did not deserve and did not take it off even though I notifed them about it.( the cust. serv. said they probably would not) was very happy with them so none of the problems others had with connections and I thought LV was affiliated with connections( from what I read, not first hand info)

just returned used 11 of the 16 vouchers, as a dvc owner and a disney veteran, I never believed the stories about feeding 2 people on one voucher, well at pizzafari in AK, we could've fed an army for 2 vouchers we received almost $40 in food, and unfortunately wasted a lot of it, my wife ordered a pizza, I ordered the italian sandwich, mine came with a bag of chips, we also got 2 orders of bread sticks, which were 4-6 each, and a drink each and a frozen lemonade and a apple pizza.

We should have just split the pizza, an order of bread sticks and the applie pie pizza, (that is what I called it) and ordered an extra drink.

We did just as well at Beaches and Creme, prime rib sandwhich, fries, fruit cup and a brownie dessert for me, don't remember what my wife had, the bill there was about $36 on 2 vouchers,

the worst value is FRANCE at the pastry place, we used one voucher and recieved a ham & cheese croiscant, a napolean and a drink, there are supposedly no sides there.

We also used the breakfast features at Cindys Royla table, The Princess Breakfast in Norway and Donalds Breakfastsauras, which for me was the best value for the dollar (not neccesarily the voucher) what a great selection of food, we had a blast.

I always tip about 20% and threw down the difference on the table, yet after the breakfastsauras, I thought man I just tipped that guy $13 on a $50 bill at a buffett!!!!!!!!

He was a great server though, he played games with my daughter, and did magic tricks with a sugar packet, he did it three times and I couldn't figure it out.

Hulabaloo

saw apicture of that apple pie pizza...looked really good!

I was wondering, can you get a large pizza as the main dish when using a quick and casual coupon. I am staying at the All-Star Sports and was just thinking that would be a huge savings.

Thanks

i know you can't get desserts or such meant for more than one person so I would doubt it. it says one entree or combo meal. I do not know if they might let you use more than one for it but that might not give you much in the way of savings

So is it OK to have one person with a VKL voucher at RC so you can get the appetizer and dessert along with the regular meal? The other 3 family members would order regularly but share the appetizer and dessert. Is this normal? We would normally get these two extras but it would be nice.:D

the vouchers do not limit how many can share, just that you get 1 appe, entree, bev and dessert so that is agreat idea imo

What is the current expiration dates on the current meal vouchers? I wish to travel in July, when should I order meal vouchers?

current expire 5/31/04 but heard new ones come out early in the spring.
