I feel certain that you will be able to use them at PC. It isn't listed because it is a new resort.

Thanks Muffy! I just assumed that I could. (I know I should never assume, though. ;) ) I emailed Hotwire, and will call tomorrow.

Where I used my 20 Quick and Casual vouchers last week:

All in all I think they were a GREAT value. Will do this again on our next trip! Remember the vouchers are 11.25$ and we were feeding a family of 5.

who do you think gave you the best and worst values for the vouchers? any place you think you should have bought a little more food or way to much? did you have any waitstaff who did not seems to want to help you with them and if so where? Thanks

The best value for the vouchers were for sure Beaches and Cream and Pepper Market. Also if you like Japanese food at Yakatori House that was a good deal $ wise but not portion wise ( meaning it wouldn't have been a good deal portion wise without the voucher anyway). The worst was the burgers at the food court at Movies, only because at 10 pm. the only thing they were making was burgers, the other dinner grills were closed. But still came out a little ahead and I wanted to use them up as we were leaving the next day and at that time we were starving. All of the CM's or wait-staff knew exactly how to use them and were perfectly fine with them. We sometimes were very hungry and sometimes only used 1 for a snack, we did purchase other meals over the ten day trip. I will for sure buy them again for our next trip. They were so handy to carry around. No counting out money or change, I thought it was very convenient and cost effecient. 20 vouchers for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 6,10 and 12) over a 10 day trip was about just right. But if you are not planning on visiting any of the other resorts I would have gotten fewer I suppose. It just depends where you plan on eating to use them. I did alot of menu reading before I left.

thanks, I only got 6 q/c, 3 vkl and 2bv for hub. and I since I really do not know if we will end up with too much/ not enough food. we normally do not get dessert or appes. cause of being to full...we have "forced" ourselves to go out for dinner a lot lately to try different strategies for the trip...*hate* to have to but it's important to do that research !:sunny:

I'm sure also you'll be able to your them. The Epcot Princess breakfast isn't listed either but they were most willing the receive them from us. And all the other "All-Stars" are listed so I really can't see them not being allowed at PC. too

Howdy! Being new to this forum, I see that you can join Hotwire and such and buy them - but we are leaving for DW on Saturday.

Can you buy these vouchers down in Orlando where you get the discount tickets?? Are they much more in price?

Thanks for all your help

i think floridaorlandotickets might let you pick them up but they cost a lot more, enough it probably would cancel out any savings...you might see if hot wire can fedex them to you overnight..I got them in about a week ordering online and most was waiting for time in the mail

How do the Quick and Casual vouchers work at the Pepper Market? I know you have to go around to different stations to order your food. Is it complicated or do they figure it out for you at the register. Does the waiter know to get the tip from the cashier or do you have to tell them??
Thanks for this great thread....it answers so many questions!!

This is such great information! thank you all who have posted!

I have one little question....can I order anything on the menu at the AK RainForest restaurant with the VKL voucer? even the lobster? or the sampler appetizer?

Thanks a bunch everyone!! :bounce:

YES Pepper Market was a little confusing, like I said if I hadn't know what to expect ahead of time it would have gotten ugly. You go around to the stations with a slip of paper, everytime you pick up a food item they stamp your paper, which you bring to the cashier when leaving. Then the cashier rings it up accordingly when you exit. I conveniently used 3 vouchers and had 3 each of drinks, entree's, appetizers and desserts so she couldn't really get too confused. Yes the waiter is supposed to get the tip from the voucher but we left a little extra to show our appreciation. The whole place is supposed to I guess resemble a bustling "market" and thats just what it is. And I also felt like I was gathering the food while my family was chowing down. I still thought it was fun.

Yes you can even order lobster & STEAK- SIL have steak & lobster and I had Primal Steak & Coconut Shrimp (both were rung in as surf & Turf $39.99)
You can't order the appetizer sampler or the Volcano dessert UNLESS you're using 2 VKL for 1 sampler or dessest. you also can't order any "special" drinks in the sovie glasses.

Our total for dinner was $121.00 before tip. We used 2 vouchers to feed 2A & 2C. Make sure you get PS though, and then you'll still have to wait 20 minutes to be seated ( 1 hr without PS) unless it's an off time of the day. After the park closes it gets really busy.

I would like to know about spitting dinners at sit down rest. ( rainforest)? Has there been any extra fees? My DH eats small meals. We went to Kunaville last week for lunch and got the specials that where a burger and frys. By the end of the meal we each had half a burger and lots of frys left. I told him about spitting meals at Disney and he could see the point but he was a little concerned about how they felt about spitting meals. I told him so what we will never see them again, LOL. Is it possible to spit the steak and lobster dinner?
I see some post about people feeding 2A and 2C using 2vouchers. Can you please tell me more?
I just got some Q vouchers and have no problem spitting with counter service.
Another thing anyone who just got vouchers,,,,,,, what is the expriation date? I just ordered some not thinking, we are not going until May.

Sarahsmom85, The ones I just got are valid through May 31, 04.

If anyone is curious about my "Can I use the Q&C at Pop Century" question...
I emailed Hotwire and WDW, but got no response from either. My sister who will be at PC on opening day, also bought Q&C vouchers for her family. She called Hotwire. Hotwire didn't know, and they told her to call WDW. She called WDW. Disney didn't know.
Sooo, my sister will be the guinea pig at PC, to see if they will accept the vouchers. :teeth:

have not done it personally yet( 32 days to go till I do yahoo!) but many have with no problem...the wait person gets tipped on the amount of food you get ( not the voucher Price) so if you split it probably would be good to tip like you got 2 meals just to keep everyone " agreeable"
the expiration is May 31 but if there is a chance you might have to change dates( like I have 4 times now!) I think you have 90 days( at hotwire at least) to return them

There was never a problem splitting meals anywhere. Never once, did we feel embarrassed or like we were trying to "cheat" anyone.

For Rainforest; (VKL): The children (8 & 12) had the appetizers, drinks and then me & my SIL split some of our main course (steak) with our kids. We had the appetizers brought out with the main course and just served some steak to the kids on their plates. We all split the desserts.

At Beaches & Cream (Q&C)they cut the double burgers in half and brought it on two plates (also splitting the fries)

At Tusker House: (Q&C)We just ask for an extra plate.
Same with Peppermarket.(Q&C)

I'm sure people split meals all the time in WDW not just people using vouchers. My DD (8) can't even finish a Happy Meal, so all I bought for us in WDW was enough vouchers for us (me & her) to split. We would have split meals anyways, 'cuz she like adult food vs. kids meals anyways.

great since i just booked Pc for Jan and am thinking maybe I should increase my q.\c since the food pix i saw look great! anyone know if there are menus floating around for Pc yet ( not on allears yet)?

jann1033, I haven't seen a menu yet. Gina Is going to call me from PC to let me know how she likes everything and give me an update on the vouchers and food court. I'll be sure to post when she calls. :D

One quick question--we are staying at BWV in January. The closest place to use the Q & C vouchers would be B & C @ the BC right?

I'm trying to figure out how many to get--me, DH & 7 yo DS , we'll be there for 12 days, so I am thinking of 15 since we plan on splitting many meals. How do you all figure out how many to buy?

Ok-sorry that was 2 questions!:p

OK, I just got an email back from WDW about my PC/Q&C question:

Dear Angela,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

While we appreciate your interest, the "quick and casual" meal coupons are
components to convention programs, have a limited time span and are not for sale
independently. For this reason, we have no information available about these
vouchers. Please refer to the terms and conditions listed on the voucher for any
applicable information.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Thank you!
