I have read posts from guest saying DTD Rainforest DID honor their VKL voucher. It was my understanding these are only accepted at the AK location. Can anyone clairfy?

I'm going to take my group of 9 to RFC at the AK during the week of Christmas--not Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I've got 5 teenagers and 3 adults, and one toddler. I've got 4 adult VKL vouchers and 1 child's VKL voucher.

How many more vouchers will I possibly need for my group? I'm planning on seating the teens together and giving them 3 of the vouchers (I think they could eat a lot!), and then maybe I'll need a couple more for the other 3 adults at my table.

Does anyone have experience with this for a larger group? I'm thinking the kids could probably get a volcano with the 3 vouchers. Would that be enough for them to share?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

I asked before but didn't get a reply. Does anyone know if you can have a teen order from the kids menu with a voucher? I overbougt on childs premium vouchers and thought I might give them to my teens.

Harry Ramsden fish and chips?oK Just got my Q&C vouchers. Comparing Allears menus with this and from what I've picked up searching, can I get the dinner menu at Rose and Crown using my voucher? If so, this news needs to be spread! I've read that Harry Ramsden's is in the pub of Rose and Crown/same exact food...? So someobody check me..fish and chip dinner $14.99+apple dessert$4.99, +drink. Sounds like a good deal to me! Is this OK? Does anyone else plan every meal 3 weeks out, or am I just a wacked out control freak?

When looking at the menus (remember LUNCH is for VKL vouchers) for Q&C, I believe you have to use the Rose & Crown Pub menu that features (quote from the menu):

Harry Ramsden's, The World's Most Famous Fish & Chips - Cod filet cooked in a unique batter served with English Chips - snack size $6.49

Note the SNACK size serving? However, the apple dessert is the same and at the same price. Still for an $11.50 coupon, you are going to come out ahead once you add up the above plus the cost of a beverage, and the tax/tip that are included!

OOPS, just rechecked the Connections list. The Q&C is only usable at Famous Fish & Chips (U.K.), and I don't even see them listed on the menus any more - just a counter service place called Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

To eat at the Rose & Crown required a VKL ($31) voucher. Ah, well, keep planning. And NO YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE planning 3 weeks out. We are doing ours and don't arrive at WDW until FEBRUARY! Yikes...

I believe it is the outside counter service. We used our vouchers there. The fish & chips, drink and shortbread cookies (only dessert). I think we lost money there but it was really good.

OK. I can't remember where I think I read this - either in a guide book or on another website. I THOUGHT I read somewhere that you can BUY your Q&C vouchers at Restaurantsaurus and use them for counter service anywhere at AK? Am I crazy? Has anybody else heard that? I tried to go through all the pages of this post but I just couldn't do it! Sorry!

The Animal Kingdom meal deal is not the same as the vouchers. You can buy the "meal deal" at Tusker House, Pizzafari, Flame Tree or from Guest Services. At the bottom of the menu on Deb Will's site, it explains the "deal". Looks better than the vouchers.

Guests ages 12 and up $11.99

Guests ages 3-11 $5.99

Certificate is good for:

One counter service entree plus a beverage at any of the following: Animal Kingdom

One box of popcorn or an ice cream bar
One bottled drink (soda or water)

The certificates can be
purchased at any Animal Kingdom counter service restaurant and also
at Guest Relations in the park. This program was started as an
experiment last summer, and could be discontinued at any time.

we had orinigally planned to use these...but then I discovered VKL. I bought 1 adult and 1 child through hotwire (free for 1-month)--$43.75. From the boards..just look...I found that you can get PLENTY of food at Rainforest Cafe..and a nice rest from park..for a family of 4. me, dh, dd's 4&7. Hopefully, they will still allow the child to order adult menu If so, you can get well over $100 worth of food-including tax and tip ..and we only paid $44 for the meal We decided to do this and skip the character food this time. check it out

I guess I'm just asking this out of curiosity but how much do the Premium Lunch vouchers cost from HotWire etc?
I've just bought some, along with several Q&C vouchers from E Bay and am so pleased to have been able to budget in this way that I don't really mind if I've paid more
We're in the UK so it's not possible to join Connections in order to access them. I only paid $12 for the Q&C vouchers and shipping was only a$1 so I know I didn't go crazy on those but, how much are the Premium vouchers?

I have been reading some of the menus at allears and it appears that some of the places listed do not have desserts listed - is this an oversight or will can you use a side as dessert? Anyone able to substitue like this?

I'm pretty sure that every restaurant has desserts, I didn't see any menus that lacked one? I mean some were only a cookie but I think that counts.
