What was your BG for? TRON has always been enforced. GotG is not normally enforced.

Tron….. I was late for GOTG and it wasn’t an issue. They were quite snippy about it at Tron

Thanks. Yes, TRON has been enforcing return times since the very beginning. What you experienced in the enforced return time is consistent.

We just got back from WDW. We were at MK on 4/4 and 4/6. We got VQ both days for Tron. Group 33 on day 1 and group 18 on the second day. The first day the boys (we just did for teenagers) were in line for almost 2 hours. I was really stressed about them being in the direct heat for over an hour - truly on concrete with no shade. I had water for them when they finished. Their entire journey in line was filmed by some youtube named Tim Tracker who was right behind them.
The second day they were in and out in about 30 minutes so much better.
We also got Guardians VQ at 7 a.m. on both Epcot days.

I tried for a Tron VQ this morning at 7am.
I got Boarding Group 25. We’re staying off site, and one of out party isnt feeling great this morning and slept in Bed a little longer. Group was called at 0940, and sadly expired at 1040
Do you know if im eligible to try again at 1300hrs, or does my success in getting a VQ this morning, even though it was a “no show”, prevent me from trying again?

Yes. You should be able to book again since gig didn’t ride.

I don't believe so, you're only eligible to enter the VQ once per day for an attraction.

"Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue will not be available. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours."

If you don’t use it and it’s been called already by the time the 1pm queue opens you can rejoin. I did this with guardians back in January just cause since I had started my morning at universal.

Edit: the once per day means you can only ride once per a day via the VQ. So once you scan in to redeem you can’t join again.

Yes. You should be able to book again since gig didn’t ride.

Historically a guest has only been allowed to secure a VQ at either 7AM or 1 PM.

For Tron there is one at 6pm on Wednesdays for deluxe resort guests. On other days there is no drop at 6pm.

Guardians has a 6pm drop on Mondays for deluxe resort guests.

There is a 6PM drop for deluxe resort guests on the evenings that there is Extended Evening Hours offered to them.

Awful indeed. I've said it before, the VQ system sucks. I can only pray that GOTG will be getting a standby line before we go in October. Otherwise, Disney will hear a blizzard of complaints from us.

Wow, now I'm actually glad that we cancelled so many trips. G+, VQ, ILL...the whole mess is making me ILL.

I’m not sure this scenario has been reported on for TRON but traditionally as long as you had tapped into the park before 1PM you were eligible for the 1PM drop regardless of your location at that time.

Almost had VQs yesterday for both tron and guardians but got to Epcot about 5/10 minutes too late. Yesterdays 1pm guardians drop lasted til about 2:15/2:20pm.

For what it’s worth, on rainy days without EEH, I’ve seen VQ show up again for booking. One time it was 7:30 and I noticed it available for VQ and another time it was 8pm. Both days were rainy and many people were exiting the park.
