Help! Was too quick! I just got boarding group 4 for Tiana’s and we likely won’t be at the park until 10. Any thoughts if they’ll honor it late? I’m sure it’ll be called before we get there since it’s such an low number. There’s only 2 of us if that make any difference. It’s a party day.

You will likely be allowed to ride. Tiana’s seems to be allowing late arrivals to ride. It’s best to try as you will likely be fine.

If you can please come back and share what time your group expired, when you tried and if you were successful, it will help us answer similar questions later. Thanks.

Apparently my eyes were too blurry this morning, I actually have group 41 I don’t think it’ll be called too soon. 😆

About what time was group 41 called? We are going on a party day next month but will be going to AK first, so I don't want too early of a boarding group.

Trying to get an idea of times so I know where I stand if I get a boarding group...

I would recommend checking this Thrill-Data link to Tiana as it tracks when each VQ is called. You can see daily, weekly, monthly stats and more. Like all attractions, it changes daily but you can see the trends.

Also, just to confirm, since I have an AP, and my park reservation is for AK (so far not a good to go day), will I even be able to try for a TBA VQ at 7am?

No. If it’s a reservations required before 2pm day you need a park pass for the park you are trying to get a VQ for at 7am otherwise you need to have entered that park before the 1pm drop.

I'm glad I asked. I guess I'll try for the 1pm drop.

We had a virtual for Tiana’s Sunday morning for group 4. We were called right around park opening and it expired at 9:10. But we didn’t end up getting to Magic Kingdom until around 12:30. They were calling for group 48 by the time we arrived. We asked the cast member if we could still tap in, and she let us go through with no questions asked. When we tapped in, it was blue. She just overrode the system turning it green.

Tiana has always let us ride even when our BG was expired (did this in August, asked a couple of CMs at the attraction and they confirmed it’s okay to be late). Just went again on October 13, got BG 4 but didn’t end up going to MK until late evening. No issues with riding. Mickey head turns blue, the CM taps their screen and overrides it.

This is great news! Thank you for sharing!

I will update the posts on page 1.

I can also confirm they will let you ride after your allotted virtual queue return time. My group was 41, it called at 10:17 and said to head to the experience by 11:17 AM. We didn't make it over there until about 12:25 and they let us in without question. This was on Sunday, October 20.

I understand you can only obtain one lightning lane per attraction. But what if your lightning lane has expired without using it; can you try to get another one later on for that same attraction?

You may wish to try using it. There have been reports of guests arriving a couple of hours late for a LL and still being able to ride but, it’s not guaranteed. Might be worth trying.

If there are EEH at Epcot on the Monday after the marathon, I may get a PH and depending on how I feel, I may try for the 6 pm GotG VQ. I have a couple of questions.

If I get a VQ, will it be on my magic band and room card? I may not be carrying a phone that can handle the app when I head to Epcot and my husband may not be going to EEH with me. He could text me when my boarding group is called.

Can you still return late as long as boarding groups are still running during EEH? Is there any risk I won't be allowed?

How fast do you think the spots will go at 6 pm? I'm not going to stress over something that's just a bonus for me on this trip.

Splash Mountain was just Fast Pass or Standby line. But now, is it like the newest popular attractions and you have to go online and enter a Virtual Queue? I have never done this before and don't know how to do it. We will be there the second week of January and need to be prepared what I need to do in order to ride Tiana. Thanks for any advice.
