Still trying to figure out what to do for dinner on one night. The menu here looks really diverse, with some vegetarian options. Do they still do the "mom's Night Out" each night?

When I was there in September they did. I imagine they still do. I don't think I would go to Pop just for dinner, unless I also wanted to check out the resort, but I enjoyed everything that I got there on my last trip.

Debs still has it listed, but that was updated April 2009. I was at POP in Oct. but we only have snacks for breakfast or a hot fudge sundae late at night. You can always take the bus to DTD and try Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich for more choices.

Thanks everyone! I was looking at WPE in fact, just not sure how fast we could get in and out. Also looking at Paradiso 37.......

What is Mom's night out at Pop?

Mom's Night Out
Comfort food favorites in classic three-compartment TV-dinner tins.
4pm - 10pm

Dinner Only $8.99 - $9.09

Saturday, Sunday and Monday: Fried Chicken Dinner

Tuesday and Wednesday: Turkey Dinner

Thursday and Friday: Mojo Pork Dinner

Looking at this all the more I would want to go to DTD to Wolf gang Puck Express or Earl of Sand.

We went out of our way to go to POP for some Mom's night out, fried chicken and tye dye cheesecake for desert. It was worth it, IMO. :goodvibes:upsidedow

I am thinking about the day we check in. We were going to just take it easy. Hit the grocery store for water and drinks, maybe DTD. This would fit perfectly to a lazy day around POP too!

My sister is a vegeterian and loves the veggie burger and vegetable lo mein. She also gets nachos, without meat, of course.

If you're staying at Pop, the food court is more than adequate. There is no need to go to Downtown just to eat.

The Parmesan chicken is delicious. You can get with either a side of pasta or salad and a fresh breadstick. Kids love those breadsticks BTW. They sell them as a snack with a side of sauce. My nephew would eat them as a meal if I let him.

If you are going to be at DTD anyway, another vote for WPE. Very good, especially for CS. Many things are sharable.

If you want to do Everything Pop, they have some good choices as well. If we do dinner there, we usually bring it back to the room. We think it's fun and different to eat in the room. Pizza, salad, and dessert in the room. Good times!

Totally agree. It's plenty of food and tasty. A little too much salad dressing for my taste if you get the salad, but the chicken and breadsticks are great.

We love Pop and love the Shrimp Lomein. It's my favorite thing to eat there along with the breakfast pizza!
