Everyone loves ________ but I just don't get it!

Turkey Legs....Yuk! Seems Barbaric
LeCelliar....Yuk! Waited 1 Hour 45 min with a reservation. I kept telling DH about the rave reviews on these boards. Didn't think it was worth it at all.
Had to go to Ghiardelli's to get rid of that bad taste. :rotfl:

Everyone Loves Kilamanjaro Safari. But I dont get it.
The story line is borning,
And you can see the exact same animals in the trails, at a local zoo,

I ususally sit this one out while the family rides and I people watch.

Everyone loves---- Winnie The Pooh and friends----but I don't get it.

We have no desire to eat with them or go on their ride.

Everyone loves Soarin, Dole Whips and Kilomanjaro Safari but I just don't get it.:confused3

Everyone loves Animal Kingdom but I just don't get it!

If it wasn't for wanting to try the new ride Expedition Everest I wouldn't even go there

/
Everyone loves _Pirates of the Carribean_ but I just don't get it.

Seems to me like its just a hyped up version of small world on steriods, it is okay but short of the handsome Johnny Depp I just do not see the allure of it. But then again I have'nt seen any of the movies either.
There I said it, Whew that felt good! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

i am with you!! i thought is was a boring ride.

Alfredo's Di Roma in Italy -- never had a good meal there... Im glad its closing..

Everyone loves _dolewhips_ but I just don't get it!
I'm sorry but they are totally not what I expected when I got one.:scared:

I have to agree with the dole whip itself. I don't care much for the plain pineapple creamy but you would have to fight me over a dole whip float.

Everyone loves mickey bars but I just don't get it!

What? I can't ever wrap my brain around that one. What's not to love...dark chocolate over vanilla ice cream. It's a perfect food.

Everybody loves Sci-Fi but I just dont get it.

Average food (did not get the milkshake), had to sit behind rest of the family. Same video clips over and over. Did not hate it, but would never do it agian.

I will totally agree with that statement. I just don't get the appeal. Mediocre food served in uncomfortable surroundings as slowly as possible. Not real warm and fuzzy. I meant the atmosphere not the food. No one wants fuzzy food.

Everyone loves _rope drop_ but I just don't get it.

I'd much rather sleep as late as possible, which isn't too late with my two kids. But still. I'd have to get up at 4 am to get myself and my family ready to go. :sad2:

Yet another total agreement. I would rather take my time an casually walk in then fight the mob. Just don't see any benefit.

Also, everyone loves ___getting autographs____ and I don't get that either. I guess it goes hand-in-hand with the character dining. :confused3 I was extremely glad my girls were too young and/or out of the loop to understand why people were waiting in lines for a character to scribble their "name" on a piece of paper!

That one I'll never get. Autographs from fictional characters just cannot be computed. I see that little kids are cool with it and it makes for really good photo opps. but they are just people with plastic heads.

Everyone loves Spaceship Earth but I just don't get it!

I mean does the ride ever run smooth?

Its like Carousel of Progress except YOU move and not the scenery . . . plus as an icon, its pretty ugly - especially with Mickey's "Hand of God" adorning it. popcorn::

If you are referring to the number of times that Spaceship Earth stops, it stops to let disabled people load safely. It has nothing to do with mechanical breakdowns.

You are the one doing the moving on CoP too!

I don't know if everyone LOVES this but....My DH and I were thankful for the A/C in the Enchanted Tiki Room but that's about it.

I liked the old Enchanted Tiki Room...the new one, not so much!

Spectromagic

It´s TOO cheesy for me; and everyone goes gaga over it.

Boy, am I glad I'm not the only one that just doesn't get the parades! I would much rather ride the rides!

I must agree with these sentiments. I think they are cute but certainly not worth waiting hours for. Spectromagic is OK but way, way to long.

I'll second this. On our last trip, we skipped the parade in order to hang in Expo Hall - drinking our Dole Whips, of course.:lmao:

Drinking Dole Whips? You eat Dole Whips and drink Dole Whip Floats. Two distinctly different items. I suppose it is possible to drink a dole whip if it has been in the sun to long. Never mind!

Everyone loves __World Showcase__ but I just don't get it!

It's not really worthy of my limited time at WDW.

If the Country doesn't have a ride or attraction it is more boring than watching grass grow.

Everyone loves STICH but I just don't get it. I really, really hate him and how over-marketed he is. It all started with a MOUSE not a whatever he is.

I also don't like (please don't flame me) the whole princess explosion and the BBB. I don't think it's a good message for little girls. I loved Cinderella as a kid myself but there was no way I was going to be allowed to put on makeup and dress up like that as a little kid -- I think a little girl shouldn't be taught to wait for her prince to come and get all gussied up for him. She should be taught to work hard and buy that castle herself and if he shows up and doesn't like her in jeans or sweats then it's off with his head :rotfl2: I think someone like Mulan, Pocahantas or the girl from Stich (I don't know her name) are better role models.

Everyone loves __the cheese soup from Le Cellier______ but I just don't get it!

Everyone loves __the strawberry soup from 1900 Park Fare______ but I just don't get it!

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I couldn't agree more. It might be ok for an eleven or twelve year old girl, but they might not want it as much.

I know they did the BBB for girls and the Pirate thing for boys, and my (female) friend and I were in complete agreement: at the age of 8, we'd have much rather gone to the Pirate part, and you'd have had to tie me down and anaesthetize me before you could have put princess make-up on me. But that's just me.

The dresses aren't so bad (who doesn't love dressing up?) but the hair and make-up and 'fairy godmother' stylist don't really sit right with me. I was too old by the time I realised you could buy the costumes, but looking around DTD in 1996 I would have chosen the Jasmine costume, simply because she wore pants!

Anyway. Everyone loves _It's a Small World_ but I really, really don't get it. Only rode it once, and it was enough!
