Everyone is O.K. with an 8.5% increase?

I am on the road for the next 6 days, but when I get home I will be glad to post VWL's budget. I will also post VB's when I get it.

lehrsj, no it was room 548. sounds like the doors aren't very strong. When you swung the doors, they felt light. Sounds like they should use a door stop with a wider contact point to lessen the pressure on the door. (the smaller the contact point, the greater the pressure, just like the 115 pound woman with high heel shoes, the heel is applying thousands of pounds of pressure to that small point on the floor.). When we went over to AKL and swung the bathroom door shut, it felt Heavy and solid.

They also seem to be having trouble with the upper lock on the sliding glass doors. The shaft on the knob is designed to be snapped off at various lengths, and when they were installed, many where snapped off too short and not grabbing the locking mechanism. While the engineer was trying to fix it you could hear the calls on his radio for this problem. He said he had to call in the carpenter. He was the one who explained the problem. Also said the locks come from England and are back ordered. The swivel pin locks used at the AKL and hotel portion of Beach Club hotel make more sense. Simple and fool proof.
