I have been really good, we went to the shops to exchange a few things, DD had £50 to spend and a £20 gift card for WHSMITHS, so she used that to buy 2 DVD's, spent half of her money on clothes for her baby (yes really expensive DH thinks buying baby clothes in cheaper!!!!), she only bought 1 PJ set and a poncho outfit.

We have bought nothing, not much worth buying, plus we have no room left, in fact DH might have to move into the shed

The sales are always an excuse for me to buy all kinds of things I'll never wear, but can't resist buying because they're so cheap! I've got a pair of bright red stilettos, that I just couldn't leave in the shop because they were only £5

In my intense commando approach to shopping however, I've somehow managed to come home with two left shoes It certainly made the shop assistant's day when I had to take them back.

Went to Cardiff when we were at the inlaws. There was still so much stuff in the Next sale including things that I'd not seen elsewhere.

Bought some Mickey hat lights - I can't remember quite how much they were (or rather how little as DH suggested we bought 2 sets!)

If you were we were the family trying to balance a Cinderella castle on a pushchair with a baby in a sling and a toddler wanting to sit in the pushchair!

When we suggested DD might like to spend some of her birthday money we did not imagine that it would be on the biggest thing in the shop! Luckily I realised that we would not be able to bring it back with us before we packed the car so it is on loan to Grandma!
