Question for our lovely hostess

I made something that's not on the list of elements. Wanted to be sure it's okay and if not, I'll use it in the holiday seasons page swap. I have Hearts and Kisses valentines theme. I made a title, paper pieced 4x6 photo frame, and *hearts mounted on little triangle flags hanging on a string like a banner. Can this be considered a border? I only made 1 so as to mix n match with the photo frame. It's 12 inches long.

Oh that sounds great! I made something like that for Fantasyland -- didn't know whether it should fit in the border category or shapes on a ribbon! But I knew it fit somewhere and yours definitely does as well! Sounds really cute, can't wait to see it!

Hey all -- it's check in time!

Please tell me how you are doing - -the swap is scheduled to mail by 10/26 to arrive here by 11/2. I know my time has been tight with finishing up the planner swap and pin swap and I don't need to mail it to myself. If you think we need an extra week and have it due on the 9th of November please let me know.

I have all my groups sketched and 95% of my supplies purchased. One group is done. I would not say no to an extra week, but I will have no problem finishing on time if the dates don't change.

I only have 2 groups left to do. One of those is already designed in SCAL so I just need to cut and assemble. This is my only swap...so I will be done on time.

I pretty much have everything sketched, but I haven't started cutting everything. I'm going to finish up AK, pin and planner swaps this week, and be ready to start these on Tuesday. I wouldn't so no to an extra week, but I'll do my best to get them out by the due date.

Let's extend the due date to 11/9 -- if everyone is strict on that then I'll get the items turned around quickly. I don't want my friends getting burned out!

No problem! I don't want to drag out the due date too much but I think an extra week will take the stress off things.

Checking in...have most cut, will start assembly soon. The extension does not affect me because I don't get back from vacation until the 8th. So, I will still have to mail by the 27th.

I've done 4 groups - I'm just trying to decide on my last one, its all cut and uses glitter paper, but I want to do something to it IYKWIM Its sort of burgundy, cream and gold on a light brown base - maybe some brown ribbon?

Group K - teens

Group O - Birthday
The letters are stamped and stuck on ribbon - there is enough space to cut the words apart if you're doing smaller than 12x12 pages. The tag is huge and hand-embroidered, mounted on glitter paper (it looks better in person)

Group P - misc fun
Rubbish photo - the white circles are supposed to look like golf balls!

Group R1 - vacation
This has an extra layer of cardstock because none of my ideas came out right
