Everyday Life Swap COMPLETE

Yes, it does need to say "Wicked Wednesday".
The color scheme should match throughout all the elements. How you incorporate your Villian is up to you.

I ordered my paper--it should be here the first of next week or so, and I can finish these! :)

3 groups done but I'm really having a block on the crafting :confused3 At least I have my cool new stitches template:thumbsup2 But I need to find some other emebllishment - I've got primas in the wings but I hoped to have something a bit more exciting/relevant. Any ideas which don't involve shopping for new embellishments? :lmao: TRYING to be good and keep off scrap websites and out of shops:rolleyes1

That don't involve shopping? Nope. Most of my embellishments are Cricut made or store bought.

Is that authority to go and buy a cricut? ;)

I'm not the one who has to answer to your DH about where all the $$ goes.
YES, Go buy the Cricut.

:rotfl:

Woohoo! I just got the tea cup sizzlets for my Time for Tea swap. I'll start playing with them tonight!

:confused3 :confused3 The scrapping option was gone so I took "crafting" :rotfl: I'm planning on using my new "stiches" template on all the elements, but I'm looking for some sort of embellishment that says "crafting" - or maybe several, like scissors, needle and thread, knitting. I think I'll have to search clipart.

How about a ball of yarn and some knitting needles? You can use real yarn to make a small ball and then use rolled paper for the knitting needles. Or maybe an embroidery hoop (circle) with some Xs and a "needle" (read: line) sticking out to represent cross stitch. Or you could just do some matted clipart. That works also!

Great minds think alike!! That was my suggestion as well.

That and you could cut a thimbal shape and emboss it a bit for the indentations.

I knew I should signed up for every group. Those all sound like great suggestions for crafting.

any thoughts on what to do for a litter box...lol

What about a small square w/ a little bit of torn sandpaper.

I'm so glad my kitty is house broken...even though the darn thing wakes us up at 4:40AM... it is so worth it!!!

A litterbox for a journal box would be adorable!! You could use any color for the actual box and then tan paper and a torn piece of sandpaper on top.

Or a tag could be cat footprints walking across litter (tannish paper) and the words Messy Cat. I know my cats are both slobs when it comes to keeping the litter inside the box!

I started my cat elements today and they are turning out pretty cute. I had scrapper's choice so I'm doing Sleepy Kitty since that's what my cats do ALL day!

I am loving all these ideas. I will be coming back later and trying my hand at some of them for my own pages.

I LOVE sleepy kitty as a theme! I have a gabillion pics of my babies sleeping!

Messy cat is right! Both of mine fling litter and they have a Booda dome!

My Feed Me group is going well. I'm trying to find cute fishbone brads but I'm not having much luck. I'm really happy with the topper - I just need to get the rest down.
