GORILLA POD!!!!
My advice would be to buy it!
that food looks yummy in germany. i have never been there but hopefully get to eat there and other places at epcot when we are there with our friends before our wedding. i love france for the pastries-i always have one every trip. yea for moving the room...i hope....i am sorry jenny that you cried like that but i don't blaim you. i am glad you went down to the desk-i would have done it the first night and raised hell like the hellcat i am-lol can't wait for day 3.....don't wait too long to post....
I'll definitely understand your frustration at the hotel. On our honeymoon in Hawaii we had to ask to switch rooms after 3 nights of listening to yelling, blaring music, and just an array of loud noises through the paper thing walls of our resort. We actually made them move us at night around 11:30 p.m. and asked for a room with no one on either side of us, it was heavenly to finally get some sleep
I tricked people into trying Beverly at our wedding too. I said in one of our newsletters to make sure to try it out (as a test to see if anyone actually read the newsletters) and I had 4 or 5 people tell me they couldn't understand why I liked it
I love seeing your shots in Epcot, definitely my favorite park. Looking forward to more and btw congrats Vin!
yay for the job Vin! I bet it feels great to hand in your notice!!
and the 1 month is not cheesy at all! you need to go celebrate every month! hehe any excuse to go out!
Have you made an official complaint to Disney & the Honeymoons department?? You totally should write up the biggest complaint letter and demand some kind of compensation after all that you went through!
Its worth trying as they might give you something, and dont just accept an apology letter- after all, how many $$$$$$$ did you spend on your hotel and in the parks- PLUS it was your Honeymoon! The least they can do is give you something for free?
heh let us know if you do write a letter!
Ok now I'm scared about the WL. Our Disneymoon is in only 3 and a half weeks!!! Either way I'm enjoying the TR, its helping to take my mind off of pre-wedding jitters. Never thought I'd get these.
Camera question: you mention the gorilla pod. What kind of pod did you use & what kind of camera? I'm worried that it wont be able to support the camera DF & I have.
Congrats Vin on the wonderful work news, and congrats on your 1 month - its not cheesy at all!!!![]()
Sorry Jenny, I've been behind and just got caught up on your report. My kids started school on Wed. and as you know it has been a little crazy around here.
I am soooo sorry about your experience at WL! Not that I have any control over it or anything, but I do feel bad for you and Vin.We have stayed there three times and have had nothing but the best service, but we never stayed on the 7th floor. There is no sense in people letting their kids run around and act like little vermits even if they are on vacation. And the Lodge should have a timer on that t.v. to shut off at a decent hour. I also don't understand why they would place a honeymoon suite beside a childs play area.
You are a lot more patient than I am, don't feel bad for your breakdown because they had it coming.
Lovin your report and your pics are great! Congratulations to Vin for the new job! Good luck with the closet, that happened to us once. Makes it easier to put things away, just open the door and toss it on the pile!![]()
love the report so far! Can't believe about WL....That is totally where we want to stay for ours next year! Can't wait for the next installment!
Hi,
Just found your tr and really enjoying it. What a nightmare with the kids and tv.
Congrats on the new job.
The Illumniations cruise looked like fun, might try it sometime.
Looking forward to more.
It really depends on how you do a trip to Hawaii on whether or not it will cost you a fortune. We went to two islands - Maui and Oahu - which added a lot of extra cost because we had airfare back and forth. All together we were in Hawaii for 8 nights and spent around $4K which included all of our accomodations, car rental for part of the time, food, hotel, and flights there and between the islands. The rooms are super expensive. We've said if we ever go back it would be nice to travel with another couple to cut down on expenses. I see great deals all the time for short 4 and 5 night get aways to Oahu though, so I know you can do it for a lot less than we paid![]()
Wow- so Ill just keep checking!! Im dying to go! Maybe we'll have to plan a trip around the same time and have a huge dis girls(and guys) hawaii adventure![]()
Today, I saw a special out of Detroit for 4 nights that was like $1,000 per person for air and hotel, so I know there are specials out there. A meet sounds like fun, how about when the DVC resort opens over there![]()
No no. Are you staying in the Honeymoon suite? If you are demand - and call- and make sure that you are not by the old faithful area- thats all!!
Yes gorilla pod let me check
