I was wondering if anyone has ever used undercover tourist (suggestion found on mouse savers website) to buy Park Passes? We need 2 adult and 1 child for at least 4 days.

They quoted a 4 day hopper (2 adult, 1 child) with 2 days free for $709 ($244/adult and $211/child), then when I said I didn't need 6 days they suggested we could upgrade to the no expiration option at WDW before we leave if we wanted. Could we do this, really? Even though they were purchased outside of WDW? We were quoted for 4 day hopper within our room package for $870. With over a $100 difference, it just seems too good to be true.

I am confused...are these tickets REAL? What is the catch? Do we have to attend a time share speal or something? Curious if anyone had purchased similar tickets and since the two extra days are "free", would those be included in the upgrade if we decided to do that at WDW before we leave?

Any information are appreciated.

Undercover Tourist price of $709 did not include the MNSSHP admission...making it a total of $819.62

Saving us 37.58 total.

The official ending price from WDW was 857.20 for only a 4 day hopper. The total from UT was for a 4 day hopper plus 2 days free.

Seems like a no brainer, 6 days for 37.58 cheaper than a 4 day, but I don't want to think I am getting a deal and then get there and find out the tickets don't work.

Any info ASAP would be appreciated...we leave next Thursday!!! EEK...very last minute trip.

Used them this year to buy 4 10 day no exp. with the hoppers. Quick shipment and got the paper tickets from them in good order. No complaints at all. One bit of advice. When you check into your resort, if you are staying on property, have the concierge put your tickets on your room card. That way you won't have to worry about ruining your paper tickets. Then you are on record as having the days listed. Makes it easier at the gate and also more secure with the plastic key than the paper tickets. You may also want to xerox the paper tickets before you leave just in case.

OK, so it sounds like they are legit? No strings?

We are staying at the FW cabins, can I assume that they will gladly do the transfer of paper tickets there? Does Disney give you a hard time about adding them onto your plastic key? Especially since they were not bought through them?

Did you have any "free day" promotions? Any ideas how much it is to upgrade to no expiration once you get there?

Very legit and No strings as far as I could tell. Just had a friend order from them this week. Got his tickets quick!

I have never stayed at FW cabins but I assume they have a check in counter. Just ask there. If not I'm sure the MS at the parks could help. They just need access to the computer network to do it. No hassle at all. They still got a heap of money from you however you bought them... add to that the money you are spending at FW cabins.

As far as the No Exp add on? You would have to check disney's site and see what the rate is. Should be there, if not give them a call and they'll let you know. The way prices are going up on the tickets I think this is a good option.

We ordered our tickets from there and got them in just a couple of days! Almost all of the ticket sellers (like UT, and Ticketmania) offer "free" days making the cost of 4-7 days virtually the same. No one has ever posted a problem using their tickets when bought from Undercover Tourist, as far as I know. Someone did have a problem with tickets lost in the mail, but as I remember, it was resolved quickly. Have a great trip!

I just ordered from Undercover tourist for my Thanksgiving trip-great service and fast delivery -recommended by mousesavers.

I ordered tickets from Undercover Tourist in Jan before the price increase - I bought 4 - 10 day no exp hoppers. We will use these for 2 or 3 trips :) Just got back from using them at the Food and Wine fest - they worked great :sunny: The paper tickets are made out of a special paper that is very hard to destroy - I have some paper tickets from 3 years ago that look good as new , they still have a couple pluses left on them. I usually stop by the guest services desk and ask for a ticket folder to put my tickets in - it keeps them nice and safe in one spot. I always photo copy the backs of my tickets just incase one is lost - it is much easier to replace if you have all that info. You can ask at the resort to have them added to the plastic room key but I have never had a problem with the paper tickets . They hold up really well. Have fun!!! :wizard:

I will second the fast delivery. I ordered our 10-day tix in 2 separate shipments and both arrived within 4-5 days. Haven't used the tix yet but I am not anticipating any problems.

We purchased the tickets this afternoon...Two Adults, One child 6 day hopper for $699!!! That is over $100 less than the quoted price from WDW for a 4 day hopper!! We added the two day express shipping since we are leaving Thursday.

But I think we did a pretty good thing...got 6 days for less cost of a 4 day!! Even if we decide to not upgrade to the no expiration, we are still ahead of the game!! I believe the upgrade is @$60? Does anyone know for sure? Having problems logging onto WDW site.

This is the link to the ticket info here on the DIS.

It does look like the additional cost for a 6-day ticket is around $60 (actually $63.90 if you look at the "Customize your Disney Tickets" chart).

Cheers,

I think I read somewhere that you upgrade from what you PAID to the new price, so if you bought a discounted ticket, you pay a bit more to upgrade than if you bought directly from Disney, but I never did this so I'm not really sure how it works.

UnderCovertourist and Ticketmania are both authorized ticket brokers for Disney. They purchase bulk tickets from Disney at a discount and sell them to the public. These 2 are legit, not sure about some from ebay, etc. I think Mapleleaftickets is another recommended broker.

Ok, i am really confused, just looked at UT site, they quote a 7 day no exp. PH for 339.00 pp for two it would cost 678.00, but on the WDW site, it is quoting me 676.00 for (2) 7 day PH with no exp..
I know tax is not included on the WDW site, so is this where the "hidden cost" is when buying direct from WDW?

***ETA*** Nevermind, i answered my own question.. i just added those tix from the WDW site to my cart, and taxes were an additional 43.94, So i guess UT is a big savings! :thumbsup2
