Can anyone dine at Evergreens Restaurant at Shades of Green or do you need to be a guest of that resort? We are staying at the Polynesian and wanted to try this restaurant for lunch.

Can anyone shed any light on this question?

Thanks!

There have been a couple of answers to this question. People have called to make a reservation at any of the SoG restaurants and they have been able to without difficulty. If you call and ask, as I did, I was told it is open to the public for dining. If you email however, someone will either answer by email or call you and tell you that it is just for eligible guests but they do allow the "golfers" to dine before or after a round. What they means to me is that they look the other way. I don't think that it is so crowded that you would be taking a table away from a guest. On the plus side, with more activity comes more revenue and hopefully more improvement in the quality of the food. The restaurants can be hit or miss. Bottom line, you can't beat the price.
