Everest Roller coaster at AK-Opens when?

Hi All
Does anyone know when the AK Everest roller coaster thing opens?
I know it was being built when we were there Dec 03 so im hoping it will be finished when we go Dec 05...

It's due to open in 2006 - I think in the first quarter of the year. I would say it is unlikely that it will be finished and that any soft-openings would be taking place this early.....sorry - I could be wrong of course, but I would be very surprised if it was this early. I know that Mission Space opened for previews early (I rode it in July 2003 even though it didn't officially open until August).

It's 2006 according to the boards outside the building site. I’ve taken some pictures of the ride, see here, here and here for shots of what looks like a very promising ride!

Shame it won't be open for December though

I guess Disney wanted to a ride to put AK on the map. It looks like they are going to do that with this ride. Can't wait to see the theming etc.

2006 thats a bit of a downer !!Thanks for the pics though it looks great!!
When its finished it will be the biggest mountain in Florida!!
