Are the FP and SB lines at Everest the same in the sense that they are side by side and go through the same areas or do they take different routes?

I just want to make sure I get to see everything.

The fast pass line takes a shortcut through the building so you miss some of the great Yeti Museum stuff that the normal line goes through. We were there early in the morning and the standby line went so fast we really didn't get to spend as much time looking at the part as I would of liked. It is one line I wouldn't have minded standing in at least once then fastpass the other times.

How was the ride?

It was OK.

The Stand-by queue is longer than the FP queue.

They go through different sides of the building,
but BOTH have their own "artifacts" and expedition items.

(Again, there is MORE of it on the Standby queue.)

There is also (after either line reaches the boarding area) another built-in queue for those who want front-row seats.
There is no preference to FP or SB riders for this optional queue.

Unlike "Big Thunder" in MK, the "train engine" for each EE ride vehicle is in the REAR, so the front-row (car) has an unobstructed view.

(BTW, my remark that the ride was "OK" was just a joke.)

EE is a terrific, first-class DISNEY ATTRACTION!

You got me with the OK. :stir:

When we were there (early February) there were no lines at all, so we had a great opportunity to walk through the queue area and see the wonderful story lines of the Yeti, the Into Thin Air group and their entire show. It was great.

And EE is absolutely wonderful. And I don't like Roller Coasters. So the fact that I did it twice really says something!

I was wondering about that one too!!! :lmao:
I thought this ride was amazing and had a bit of all the best of all the other coaster type ride in the park... overall I thought it totally lived up to the hype!!
