Got my reservation request in for the soft opening in January--who else is going?

We booked ages ago for 16th -> 30th Jan, and I was hoping (though not optimistic) that we might get a preview of EE when we went - you can imagine how pleased I was when we found out the dates for the preview!

Already agreed to take some guests with us, who we've never met in person, but asked nicely on another board.

I'll be there! My sister will be celebrating a hallmark birthday, so we made plans for this visit over two years ago. I can't believe the luck we had in that the DVC EE preview is the same weekend!

Yea I have been looking at some real nice DINGS $24-$39 It's soooooo tempting but I will have to just wait until June Trip.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give reports once you all get back and have a grand time I know it's going to be a great ride addition.

As for the Ressie's I don't think so but it did say fastpass would be running for it.If someone goes multible days and wants to unload a lanyard and pin PM me for details.

We were supposed to go to Vero Jan. 26-29, then on to BWV but DH decided he'd rather do Vero when we're down for Spring Training in late March (makes sense because it's much closer to our beloved Mets). Well, I changed the reservations last Wednesday so we'll be at BWV from Jan. 26-Feb. 3. It musta been fate because we saw the announcement on Thursday afternoon -- with our original plan we would have missed the whole preview! I can't WAIT!!!!

Booked SSR and SW $39 each way last week....Arriving Friday and returning at the CRACK of dawn Monday.

Luckily for me, I will be working in Birmingham, AL so I could fly SW and I had a credit on them. Haven't decided what else I am doing.

Our family and sisters family will be there. We usually go at this time in January so it was a great surprise to find out it will be previewing while we were there. DH and I were actually thinking of squeezing in a trip after the opening to ride it, just so we wouldn't have to wait till Feb '06.

Can't wait!!!!

When we found out about the preview we booked a quick trip staying at OKW. Arriving Friday night, leaving Monday morning, and heading straight to work from the airport...

Will be there at SSR - Jan 22 - 27. Does any one know the height restrictions. Have a 3 yo DD. I know she most likely will not be tall enough but checking. I guess DH and I will do the parent switch if available.

The 2006 Birnbaum book lists the requirements for the ride. I can't remember if it said 44 inches or 48 inches. Anyway, unless your 3yo is very tall, I am afraid the ride will be off limits.

My DD and I have dreamed all weekend about getting there for the opening. Don't know if it will work out or not, but I hope everyone that gets to go has a great time.

Must be crazy, but decided to go for the weekend 1/27-1/29. Got a studio at OKW - first time there - and then 4 tickets for Song BDL to MCO. Our AP's just expired, but we have 1 day left on some old Park Hoppers.

Planning a commando day on Saturday - first AK for EE, then over to MGM for ToT & RnRC, then over to MK for the rest of the day!

Sorry, I should have said my DVC room request reservation; that's what I meant.
We'll be at Saratoga Springs the 25th to the 29th, if anybody wants to ride the ride as a big DVC DIS group

We leave on the 27th so we should be able to hop over to AK in the am on the 26th. I'm not getting my hopes up though, I have no idea if these things are really written in stone or not. Are they? I've never been able to attend a preview or a sneak peek before.
