Ever won Online contests ?

HI There are lots of contests/sweepstakes on the internet .
Did anyone ever win prize as big as a cruise trip or a LCD TV ?

...Or they are all waste of time to participate.

I won a yahoo.com contest several years ago. The prize was a $1,000 gift certificate to cdnow.com.

Those that pop up and say that you won something are hoaxes from what I heard on the news a while back. Other than that, I don't know

I won a Cinderella book from a Disney contest on Mousesavers! It arrived last month and my DD6 loves it!

I won a SpaWish gift certificate from Dole Pineapple online, lots of little things like candy bars, coupons for free products, I won a soccer ball from Coke and a Lee jeans beach towel.
Still waiting for Publisher's Clearinghouse to stop by here though!

I have won quite a bit - I used to enter contests online everyday through www.online-sweepstakes.com. I have won $10,000 in a Kraft Foods contest and I won a $1500 Panasonic television in a Cablevision contest. I have won numerous smaller prizes as well. You have to make a pretty big commitment to entering, enter a lot during odd hours (i.e. middle of the night), but you can definitely be a winner.

While it sounds great, you can probably make more money if you spent the time that I spent entering contests at work for a salary. But, it is a lot of fun when you win something. I won the $10,000 after sweeping for 9 months.

My mom is a HUGE contest gal. She enters alot both online and in written contest forms. Although she has never won anything as big as a $10,000 cash prize... she has won:
-An all-expense paid 1 week WDW vaca for 6 adults at the GF. It was wonderful!
-A year's supply of Ball-Park hotdogs
-A year's supply of Bubbilicious bubblegum (our teeth rotted by the end of this one )
-Odds and ends/ gift baskets/ gift cards/ small-scale shopping sprees

She just does it for fun in her free time.

I won a (huge) Hugh Jackman movie poster for answering questions about him correctly. I'm sure kimmar will be happy to know that.

My biggest win was one I entered via the newspaper (FL residents only). It was a day trip to the MK for four to see the MSEP before the public got to.

I've won a lot of smaller items like makeup, Superman toys, etc. but I did win $100 worth of Hasbro toys one time. That was awesome! I'd love to win something much larger though.

I got a box delivered from UPS about 2 weeks ago. It was addressed to me, but I didn't recognize the shipper and couldn't recall ordering anything. When I opened it up, I discovered that I had won the 2nd place prize in the Starz.com contest for Chronicles of Narnia. I think first place was a trip to Disney. Instead, I ended up with an embroidered fleece jacket, movie book, pen and some light up toy. Pretty cool, I don't usually win anything and I had completely forgotten that I had entered.

In the DIS WOASADI contest you can win a trip to Disney A cheerleader/support one 3 nights at the Swan and Dolphin last week So yes, some out there are great! Like the DIS!
