Ever wear "Earth Shoes"?

I've never owned a pair of Earth shoes but I wear Birkenstocks all the time. They are also very homely but comfortable shoes :)

I had pair of those ugly shoes in the 70's too. Does anyone remember Buffalo sandals? They wey cheap sandals from Miles that I used to have replace practically every 3 weeks because the soles seperated from the shoe.
I see desert boots are back in style :earseek: They were made of suede we'd wear them in the snow and rain so all day with your socks and feet wet!

I remember wearing earth shoes when I was in jr. high. Mine were not as ugly as the ones pictured or as the ones I have seen in the stores so far. Mine were a tan suede and were style almost like a clog top(upper) but just had the reverse thing going on with the heel. I remember that I loved them and would like to have some now but have not found a price I like.

Wow! I haven't heard them mentioned in eons. Sadly, I'm old enough to have worn them in the 70's. If I recall, they were nice and comfy. I would give them a shot again. Just don't bring back bell bottoms! :)

Another shoe that people wore were called "Wallabees." They were those suede-look high top shoes, that everyone had! :dog: (Putting a dog in my post as well, so that wld won't feel self-conscious!)
