My daughter joined the zoom online session right at 8AM this morning. It's now 5:30 and she still hasn't been able to speak with anyone. She's going to stay on until they kick her off, but just wondering, has anyone ever been on this call for 12 hours straight and no answer??

She was already on for 4 hours last night when they booted her just after 8 pm. So aggravating.

If she can't get through today, we're going to have to try in person at the park tomorrow afternoon/evening. Anyone know what the wait times have been at the esplanade?

Other posters have reported trying for several days (waiting basically all day) before getting through. It has been reported that there are only 8 CMs handling all the online calls for DL, which explains the long wait times. Lines in the esplanade haven't been bad first thing in the morning -- some people have reported waiting about 20+ min. to get to a window. There isn't much shade in that area, so bring a hat or a sun umbrella if you are heat sensitive.

Yes, I waited on a Saturday for 10 hours, Sunday 8.5 and then I called on a Monday and waited 2 hours and got through 🥰

Thats insane.....8 CMs for that is just...I can't even

That’s a little insane. Is it taking so long because the interviews are more in-depth now? It took less than 5 minutes when it did mine back in May.

Mine earlier this month only took 10 minutes for approval and 15 whole call in general. I was on hold from 8-5;30 on a Sunday.

Ugh. I'm sorry it's taking so long! I hope she can get in soon.

Update: Waited from open to close (8:00 to 8:00), no one ever came on the call and it kicked her off a few minutes after 8pm.

Arrived at DLH today and went to the Accessibility building around 3. Were told they wouldn’t see her in person there because its only for people who have tickets that day. However the CM had us use the online system from my phone, which can only be used by guests inside the park. I was skeptical, but she assured us it wouldn’t take long. We were talking to a CM about 10 minutes later. She asked why my daughter needed it and maybe 4 other questions, same ones I’ve seen here. Approved!!!

Yes, it is more indepth, most who get approved report back that additional questions are asked in comparison to the past.

Next to that you have the people who used to get approved and now rejected. That brings discussions, but also time is now needed to explain other/new accomodations.

1 agent probably can handle 3-5 people per hour. 24-40 per day. Times 8 agents. So, on the phone about 200-300 people can get helped per day.

What are the 4 questions? Always the same?

Wow! That's wonderful! I'm glad it all worked out even though the process was so stressful for you all. Have a fantastic trip!
