Ever used FairFX at DLP/anywhere else?

I'm tempted to get one for my upcoming holiday as my current account charges £1.50 a go for card transactions!!

Then it'll be handy for DLRP and other holidays next year.

Have any of you got one?

No but I do have a Nationwide account that I opened purely for going abroad. No charges to use it as a debit card or for withdrawals. Dead quick and easy to open online and then just a document to post back to them to finalise it.

Can't help on the FairFX, but Nationwide is good for fee free transactions abroad.

The Credit Card is no fee for purchases and the Debit Card with the current account has no fee for purchases or cash withdrawals at a normal atm (assuming the ATM doesn't charge like those dumb ones you get in pubs/motorway services)

We have N/wide credit card and debit cards only used for holidays abroad

I think you can apply online for Nationwide card.

I think the cards normally take about a week from when you apply.

If you are in a rush, i'd recommend going into a branch as you can sort out all the forms with signatures and have all your ID checked at the time. If you apply online it'll add in delay as you have to wait for them to send you some forms and then you send your ID off to them.

You'll need the normal two forms of ID with name and address - am sure the website will have details of what you need to take in.
